I like this smith machine. Sturdy one, especially good price for its value. Covers ton of functionality and occupies limited space. One thing you might want to consider your height. I am average height it fits me exactly. But if someone one is taller, this may not be very ideal for them. Other problem I found it assembly is so confusing and guide. It me and my wife about 8 hours to complete it. They could just provide a video guide or something. It’s would make lot easier on the consumer. ... show more

First off, it's almost exactly like the picture - but it's branded E.R. Kang and it doesn't include a bench as shown. I'm not sure what's going on with the brands that are here on Amazon, but it like a bunch of different "brands" are really the same company offering different combinations. Anyway, the machine comes in 3 boxes totaling 341lbs. It's a million parts and an instruction book that is just images, no text. Be Very careful to study the images, it's quite easy to get confused. Note that step 5, pg17 doesn't show this, but make Sure the threaded hole for the Smith Bar is pointing up, not down. I would say the assembly is.. advanced. Overall, I got a good machine, but I'm not sure what you'll get if you order - ER Kang, GMWD, or something else. ... show more
