The media could not be loaded. I watched countless videos on how to do the polygel. It was my very first time but personally it wasn’t as seemless as the videos. Also, the instructions should suggest after curing the polygel to wipe with isopropyl alcohol to remove that top layer / harden it. It made such a difference. I learned that from a comment on one of the videos. My nail bed is long and curved so the molding tips mostly popped off and I had to go back in and fill in gaps towards the base. I eventually just used a mold that was bigger than my nail and that helped a little. I just purchased a drill for the back & the edges to clean it up. I ended up using a lot of the gel to fix the gaps but I think you can get 2 uses out of one tube depending how long you make the nails. The gel itself is great. Very firm/thick and I can tell they will last! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this kit because I was looking for a white poly gel that glows white instead of green. If you’re familiar with glow in the dark texture, the grainy consistency is kinda normal. I use 91% alcohol as my slip solution. It does get harder to move around eventually as that “grainy” glow in the dark texture makes it a little “too” stiff at times. My favorite brand is Makartt if that helps to compare. I love the colors and the price seemed reasonable for how much is included in this kit. A couple things though- I was getting heat spikes with both the base and top coat. And second, the plastic nail forms that came in the kit, had excess plastic around the edges (like they weren’t cut down properly) and the shape of these forms don’t cover your entire nail. They might fit at the base where your cuticles are, but then it goes skinnier in the middle leaving the edges of your nail exposed. ... show more

Amazon isnt allowing me to include pictures in my review but these polygels do actually glow in the dark. I even used a splatter matte top coat and they still glowed pretty clearly. I'm still having difficulty sizing the forms to my nails, but I might try a different style. The polygel and tools are wonderful and perfect for a beginner. ... show more

Spent 4 hours trying to do my nails with this kit just for all of them to break off less than 10 minutes after I got them on. If your a beginner and doing it on a fake hand I would say this kit is good for that but if you are doing it on your own hand this kit is not worth it! Update: The instructions aren’t that good but watch some videos on how to fix the breaking off problem and that fixed it. You have to do a second coat of the poly gel to make sure they won’t break off. After fixing the problem I had with this kit it’s definitely worth it! You really have to think it’s $15 and other kits are around $30-$40. You’re not gonna get the best quality out of this kit but it works ... show more

It’s easy to get a great shape with this product but unfortunately the gel nails fall off so quickly. They are soft and easily damaged also. I never made it a whole day without at least one mail falling off. And I never knew when they fell off so I would find them randomly around the house. I cannot recommend this product unless you are just using it to develop your skill. ... show more
