I purchased the 18"x36" black version (XXL). Thickness is ~4mm. As a mouse surface it is great, but I have also discovered that it has actually helped to make my mechanical keyboard quieter because vibrations are not otherwise transmitted directly to the desk. The pad also does a good job of absorbing ambient sound. I am not exaggerating when I say that working with this in front of me seems to provide a comfortable cone of silence that helps concentration. Overall it is very pleasant, and glorious, highly recommended. My only worry with a pad of this size is, will I be able to keep it clean? and if not, can I make it clean again? Only time will tell, so I will update this review when that day comes. The pad comes with these cleaning instructions: -- hand wash, or machine wash -- if machine wash, recommended cold water, low tumble, and a dash of detergent; air dry only. ---------------------- update 07/29/2017: -- washed as recommended and hanged to dry, looks brand new ... show more

I bought this for my 17yr old son. He's not a professional gamer but does play lots of computer games. He needed a new pad and I had never seen "gaming" pads before. I did hours of research (reading articles, looking at amazon at all the comparable products). I finally landed on the Glorious XXL. I am NOT disappointed. When I was reviewing other products, other describes issues like a bad smell or the sides wouldn't lay flay. Not with the Glorious XXL. I've experienced no issues. It is perfect and has laid perfectly flat right out of the box. It feels really nice and smooth. It has a nice weight to it but its not overly bulky. It doesn't slide because of the grip material and the edge stitching is impeccable. I'm not a gamer but I am considering getting one for me. I have a large desk with two monitors and it would be nice not to have to re-position the mouse pad as I am working. (sorry about all the dust in the pics. What can I say? He's a teen boy...cleaning is not a priority for him) ... show more

My original Power Play mat from Logitech for my G703 mouse to wirelessly charge was getting a bit dingy, and my old second mouse pad that was under my keyboard (G915 TKL) were also getting bad looking. I ordered this to go over the PowerPlay mat and under the keyboard to give a cleaner look as finding replacement mats for the PowerPlay is directly through Logitech and while not difficult, it takes longer to get ($10, got one just in case this didn't work). I wasn't sure if the wireless charging for the mouse would work through this mat by removing the top pad on the PowerPlay mat but I'm happy to report it works flawlessly! Was at 82% charge one day, 90% the next. Several hours gaming in between with Apex Legends, and no issues at all. Very happy with the quality of the mat and the ability to cover everything and still wirelessly charge my mouse. I had one little loop of frayed thread from the edge stitching which I burned to keep from fraying further, but still 100% happy and satisfied with the quality of the mat and the overall appearance on my desk space. I run 400 - 500 DPI on all of my mice. This pad is equated to something between the SteelSeries QCK and the ZOWIE G-SR, but retains a little less stopping friction than both. The XXL has more glide than both, though can suit the lower DPI settings better. If you're looking for something with more glide, provides a smooth experience, but has some control to it, this is a mousepad worth your time. Do take into grasp that this is larger than most pads. Cleaning is fairly easy, though it does tend to be a magnet to crumbs. Though with a napkin or a few swipes, it's easy to clean. If all of this seems like something that suits you, it's a total recommendation from me. ... show more

After weeks researching and watching videos about the perfect pad for my new rig, I realized it had to be glorious. I purchased this good boy about two months ago, and have been extra happy with its speedy gaming mouse feedback and sexy texture. The box is also cool and comes loaded with nerd stickers. Two situations: I noticed (only opened the box after a month) that some fabric had a different tone, and there was a stitch mark on the junction. 1. I quickly cut the stitch, and looks perfect. 2. The white dot is increasingly concerning my sight. Today, I decided to wash to after scrubbing with some hand-soap but had no luck. Even after machine washing (as recommended; cold, neutral soap), the white dot is still there (I know the pad is also white). I want not to see that, and I usually do not - unless I am departing from my desk and need to look down. As I depart my desk multiple times a day, I get to see the dot multiple times a day. Solution: I contacted customer service as I want to make this right, and will update this review should I ascent to a perfectly glorious mousepad. 12/2020 Update: customer service mailed me a new pad, and deserving the stars missing from my previous review. This a 5star mat. All the reviews on this mouse mat are inline with what i consider a very smooth experience. I even tried other eSports mats that some professional gamers uses and this is the one i decided to use as my daily driver. There is no resistant working against your mouse glide, its also not super slick where you might over shoot your mouse. If you want something super slick there are other mats out there but this is perfect for gaming and general mouse use.
