  • Works Great 👍
Great upgrade. I have a very old 2wd Stampede originally brushed motor. I modified it to be brushless with 3s battery. Also updated the slipper clutch. The plastic housing did not provide for motor mounting stability or heat sinking. This assembly does both. All mounting hole lined up. Bearings fit very well also. I red and blue tread locker on the assembly. Red for the 3 heat sinks and A arm mounts. Blue on rest of assembly. Price is great. Solid unit, Great upgrade 👌. ... show more

  • Holes not correct threads
I’ve bought this 2 times now and both times the bottom 4 mounting bolts wouldn’t screw in without cross threading. I had to get the tap and die set out and retap them to the correct bolt thread.

  • Probably best to avoid.
Advise avoiding this product. It "works" eventually. There's no instructions, but you can figure it out. The four bottom bolts had intrusion from the alignment pins, and would not accept the screws. I have a tap set, and was able to re-drill and re-tap it, but nobody should have to do this. If you use the factory 2wd wheelie bar, the design does not give enough structural support. Not a fully engineered solution, use the factory part and just replace it when you need to. ... show more

  • Works
The holes were not threaded all the way thru so the screws bottomed out before securing but I was able to re tap the holes and make it work.

  • Needs improvement
The holes for the lower control arm pins were way to small. I couldn’t get the pins all the way in to hold the control arms to the rear of the car. I had to drill them out bigger. The blue cooling fins at the top also kept falling off. Also the holes on the bottom of it were not the right threads for the screws provided. They messed up the threads. ... show more

  • Not what I expected
Looks exactly like the HR one but the quality not near as good. Holes were not thread tapped fully and clearances were too tight is places. Had to re-tap the threads and use a dremmel on the hole where the input shaft goes thru but after that it was fine. So it will save u money if u have the ability to deal with the issues that come with it ... show more
