Changed cam, head and rocker assembly. Have a significant DECREASE in over all power with this cam for my particular 150cc scooter. My stock cam was much better. Also a ton of lifter noise. Tried multiple valve settings. Appears to be a 50/50 on here if this will improve your power or not depending upon your stock cam. Took a chance with this A9 cam and have no regrets. I have a gy6 150cc with a NCY 172cc cylinder kit, NCY Big Valves 58.5 Cylinder Head and prior to installing this cam performance was noticably lacking. This was the missing piece of the puzzle. A+ Recommended. About a year later, and after a small shot of nitrous, the bearings spun. I guess the cam couldn’t take the heat. Went with an overpriced Taida cam for durability.   • Bust buggy upgrade for the money period!
Fit and finish was great! I put mine in a trailmaster blazer 150x buggy/gokart. Seriously reccomend getting the vlave adjustment tool. Makes the job so much easier. Upon first look the cam doesn't look much diff from stock. What changed is the duration of valve lift. Performance was very noticable. I live a 4500feet above sea level. I gained about 6mph downhill and over 10mph uphill. Flat ground about 4mph gain. What is super cool is the gain was allover. Low end, high end, mid range! Single best upgrade I have done. Needed to monkey with the idle a bit. But that's easy! Be sure to inspect all surfaces of cam before install. Dont install one that has irregularities on the cam lobes. Installed in 150cc scooter. First and foremost, you will need to get aftermarket high lift valve springs to use this cam. Other than that, it was easy to install and fit perfectly. Cam gave a significant boost to the midrange performance on my 150cc scoot. Perfect for commuting, great passing power, and fast off from red lights. Top speed/ high RPM power did improve, but not much....that is not what this cam is for. ... show more

  • Nightmare for a year before I found out
Troubles for a year after I installed it kept thinking my engine blow up ! But was losing compression what was really happening was ot was bending my valves so slightly and putting my timing off. Makes switching over from a 50cc to 150cc not worth the stress or problems

  • Cheap and provides some benefit, but nothing earth shattering. Still recommended.
Not much of a performance increase noticeable off the line, but my scooter does seem to handle that last bit of top end a bit better. I no longer have to tuck to get from 45 to 50 mph. What you will notice if anything is that where it previously may have seemed a bit sluggish, it now doesn't. Smooth through the whole rpm range. In any case VERY MUCH worth the price and the hour it takes to install this. ... show more

Rebuilt 2 stock GY6 150cc engines and a 180cc GY6. All 3 cams measured correctly for an A6 camshaft and all 3 engines running as they should nice and strong.
