  • Awesome vinyl
Color: Assorted
Very thick stuff. As other reviewers mentioned, you need to set your cricut to the cardstock setting because this stuff is so thick. Once we did that our projects turned out amazing and sparkly.

  • Awesome Vinyl!
Color: Assorted
This vinyl is wonderful! The colors are absolutely gorgeous! It is thick and great quality! I wish the pieces were bigger, but we’ll worth the purchase! I will definitely be ordering more. I also love that there is a picture of all the colors with names. It makes it so much easier to show customers for them to choose. Make sure you set your machine to “card stock”. There was no need for me to go back over the cut with the “vinyl” setting after the card stock cut. In fact, I tried it at first but it didn’t line up correctly. One run through on “card stock” was perfect! ... show more

  • Will never buy again
Color: Assorted
While the glitter is very pretty this vinyl is just horrible! It’s very thick and I’ve tried a bunch of different setting trying to figure out which one will cut the best. So much wasted! Don’t waste your money

  • This stuff means buisiness
Color: Assorted
Very sticky! The only thing I don't love is that it is very hard for my cricut to cut. I have to have it on one of the highest settings for this to cut. Once you cut it, it is very thick and good quality. I do like all the colors it comes with as well.

  • Tricky to work with, but good results!
Color: Assorted
My first attempt to cut it was a total fail, I didn't realize how incredibly thick this is and used the standard vinyl settings on my Cameo 2. Luckily I remembered to do a test cut (since its a new material) before trying the whole project so I only lost a small corner of material. I decided to read other reviews to see if anyone had listed what cut settings they used, and found a bunch of mixed results, so below is what I did and my suggestions for using this. (For some background, I've had my Cameo 2 for just over 3 years and use it almost daily. I've cut everything from cereal boxes for banners to super thin paper doilies, so I've had a good bit of practice.) First, this feels less like vinyl and more like shrink plastic or stencil material, so I decided to try the standard stencil material settings in Silhouette Studio and it worked perfectly; If you don't have this setting I've included a screenshot of the window. I was also using a brand new blade. I've cut into three different sheets with these settings and the same blade and haven't had any issues so far. I figured out pretty quickly that this will not work well for thin, delicate designs, so I recommend using it with bold, fat fonts or larger mostly solid shapes that don't have a lot of fine details. In the photos I added I used a bold brush font for the words 'chaos' and 'creativity' which worked well except for the 'brushy' details on the ends of some letters, which don't stick well because they're so fine. The rest of the design I did with standard Oracal type vinyl. Step two: weeding. I highly recommend using weed lines with this, even more so than usual. It likes to lift off the backing as a solid piece once you get it going. If you aren't familiar with weed lines, what I do is use the line or rectangle tool to draw straight lines around my design, this lets me save partial sheets of material and makes for fewer big sticky pieces that might slip and pick up parts you don't want weeded. There are lots of videos and tutorials demonstrating this and other methods. Transfering my design was a challenge. I have a giant roll of Craftopia's transfer paper and it could not pick it up for anything. I ended up getting a piece of transfer paper ready, backing off, and taping it to my desk sticky side up, then used my hook tool to lift the design off the backing one piece at a time and then lay it upside down in the right position on the transfer paper. Once I got it in the right spot I'd press it gently with the tip of the hook and it would stick enough to be inverted without falling off. HUGE pain in the butt, but it worked. I haven't tried it yet but regular shelf lining type contact paper might work better since it's stickier. I decided to put my designs on mostly flat surfaces. I really don't think this would hold up too well on something like a cup with a large amount of curve to it just because of how thick it is. It does tend to peel more easily than regular vinyl only because of its thickness. It's easier to snag a sharp corner if you rub against it or something like that. I included a photo (kind of a bad one, pardon the glare) pointing out the thickness difference between standard vinyl and this. Overall, I think it has its place in my craft room. I can see using it for projects that won't be handled a whole lot and that are on mostly flat surfaces, but I wouldn't try it on cups or anything that gets rough treatment (like things I decorate for the kids or whatever). I also don't think that I would recommend it to someone new to vinyl cutting, considering how hard transferring designs is. I'm sorry that this is so long, but after seeing how much trouble everyone was having I wanted to be thorough in my review in hopes of helping someone else get some good use out of this product. ... show more

  • SUPER THICK & TOUGH TO CUT
Color: Assorted
The variety of colors are very nice BUT super tough to cut. They also don’t work well with other glitter vinyl’s because they are much thicker than a standard foil glitter vinyl, making the final project look sloppy and uneven. The adhesive is not very sticky and easily peels from the project. Overall, very disappointed in this product. ... show more

  • Finally got this vinyl to work!!!
Color: Assorted
I bought this glitter vinyl back in February and I just could not get it to work. Then latley, I read a few reviews and decided to try it again because I really wanted some glitter letters to go on some mugs I was making. So this time, I tried a different setting on my Cricut Maker. I tried the thickest stencil setting and it cut perfectly, on the first try. I was so excited. It picks just as easy as any other glitter vinyl but then it absolutely would not transfer with any of my transfer tapes. So I decided to just try my regular box tape and it worked great. I am going to order more of a heavy duty, stronger transfer tape but for now the box tape worked just fine, as you can see in the photos. So if you're looking for a glitter vinyl, that will cut very thin details and lettering, this works great. I don't know how long it will stay on, when it's washed but as long as you wash it by hand, I'm sure it will last just as long as any other vinyl but I actually put Modge Podge dishwasher safe on some and then I also put resin on some, just to make sure it stays on. It's very pretty glitter vinyl and I'm so glad I finally got it to work. ... show more
