    • Wrong parts, horrible manual, and ghosted by seller

To start off we sent the original tank back for replacement because it came with parts that belonged to the 3 gallon and the 10 gallon tanks. We bought the 6 gallon tank. The replacement tank came and we had the same issues. On top of this the manual that comes with it does not give proper installation details. When I reached out to the seller they never responded to my request for a manual that describes how to install it correctly or at least a video. I would not recommend this tank to anyone. I loved the idea of the tank but it's not worth buying. Don't waste your time on this product. ... show more

I bought this tank for my desk at work, so it was the perfect size at 6 gallons. I intended to have a betta and a few shrimp, some snails. Pros: The tank itself is great. It's a good size. That it doesn't have a feeding hatch is minor. The thermometer is nice, too. I have not needed a heater yet, but there is room to run one in if it comes to it. Annoyances: You have to scroll through the light colors to get to white every time you turn it on. It doesn't stay on the color you left it on when you turn it off then back on in the morning. Second, the clock is decorative. You cannot time the lights to automatically turn off and on, which would explain why there is a clock on the tank. Cons: The pump is a POS. The air tube ALWAYS comes unattached over the weekend and it is a whole effort to get it back on, the long suction piece pops off every time I did it... I swapped the dang thing out for the one you see in the pictures. Plus, it is only sucking up large particles and doing nothing for water quality. The sponge filter? Nice concept, but I added a mesh bag with a 50/50 mix of Fluval Zeo-Carb and aquatic peat to actually control things like ammonia and ph. In short, it is a great tank if you want a small tank, but be prepared to modify. Edit 8/21/2024: This unit DOES have a timer for the light but you have to button mash to get it to come up. I have no idea how I did it, I was trying to set the clock after a power outage and it gave me an 'ON' and 'OFF' option so I set it. Love the curved glass aquarium. BUT the motor and the filter couldn’t even keep up with keeping the a 7 gallon tank clean, with only a Betta and a catfish. Have had this for a while so I had to put in a sponge filter in the corner, water staying clean now, at last.

I got the 6 gallon and the 10 gallon tanks. I am having issues with both and they will not reply to me. The filters are making noise. The Lid with the buttons quit working. I’ve only had this tank for less than 6 months. I can’t return to Amazon because it’s been too long, but it has not been over a year so it should still be under warranty with them. I adore this aquarium—it’s temperature-controlled, and my fish loves it too! However, the instructions are not great; they’re a little confusing and should be simplified. Also, consider purchasing a small heater. I wish there was a designated place for the food instead of having to open the hood. On the bright side, the bubble and filter were both included, which is wonderful! My only wish is that the current (water flow) was stronger, but overall, the tank is excellent for beginners. ... show more

I agree with the reviews here. The filter is so strong, and I am missing a lot of parts it says it comes with like suction cups. I think this tank is worth it, just need the filter to come with all the attachments.
