It took me quite a while to finally land on a few towel options, and I actually ended up buying two from this company, and another two sets from another highly rated company. I can say that both colors from this company had a TON of shedding and lint left over in the dryer... In fact, the dark gray was so badly built up and visible when I pulled them (every. single. size.) out of the washer that I could pull chunks of shed lint off the towels prior to throwing them in the dryer, so I can only imagine how much more would have been produced if my OCD hadn't gotten the best of me and I hadn't already taken some of it off myself prior to drying them... There was also quite a few threads hanging off most of the towels, hand towels, and wash cloths, but I just took my thread snippers and cut them closer to where they pulled snug, and so far no problems yet. Will update if this changes. That said, after pulling them out of the dryer, I found that they were moderately soft - not as soft as I would have hope for this high of GSM, but not the worst I've felt either... Just would have expected them to be softer. Their absorbency is pretty good overall, and my partner said he loves them, so I think all in all, for the price I got them for (on sale 54% off), it was a good purchase! ... show more

I am very pleased with these towels. The color is just what I wanted as dark teal is difficult to find in any brand. I did not follow laundry instructions as I have always washed towels in hot water and dried on high as a sanitizing method. I went ahead and did that and they look wonderful. These are extremely soft but did take a while to stop bleeding during washes. A while as in... months. But they are extremely soft and I love the vibrant pink color. They do get pretty linty when dried with other items which I don't like but I deal with. And because they're so thick, they hold water/soap more than I'd like. After my shower it takes me 6-10 rinse and squeezes to keep all of the soap out which is annoying. Otherwise I do still enjoy them. I try to keep this for my face mainly since I don't prefer showering with them. I'll use them in hot water to rind my face to avoid the soap buildup in them. ... show more
