I was dubious to say the least. But this really is super soft, pretty plush, and so pretty. It's like laying on a cloud of cotton candy. My daughter will go in her room and just roll around on it (she's 2). It vacuums easily. AND we just got a new puppy. We locked him out of her room, but he happened to get in the other day and of COURSE, takes a dump in the middle of it. I was about to kill him. I set to work cleaning. I used a basic spray and scrubbed. I grabbed a spare comb and ran it through the fibers to work out the chunky gross parts. I sprayed it down two more times and combed it once more before fluffing the fibers back together. It's impossible to see where the mess was, and the rug is no worse for wear. I like it because it’s soft and comfortable over tile. It looks nice, but a little cheap. The grey color was pretty. We use it over another rug that we paid more for just because this one is softer on bare feet. No bad smell!

I love this carpet! It’s on the thinner side, so if you’re looking for something to lounge on this really isn’t it. But for decorative purposes, it’s perfect. Don’t get me wrong, either—it’s super soft and fluffy so I do often sit on it. This is actually the second one I’ve purchased because someone stained my first. The quality was the same in both purchases. No weird smell, comes vacuum-sealed and fluffs right up. I run a stick-vac over it to get any hair/trapped debris and it works great. The material does not hold up. The bottom of the item is flimsy with a thin piece of sponge and cloth. It is a complete waste of money. It will barely last 3 months and I am sure it is not what you are looking for in regards to the area rug family. This is item should have never been more than $30. I got duped, save your self. I will have to throw out the 3 that I purchased because the return window closed and I had them in boxes until I was ready to use them. Also the material seems toxic.     • This is not shag, it is chenille
This is a chenille rug. I was hesitant to open it as it comes shrink (read compressed) in a cube. It did not feel heavy enough to be what it claimed to be. It is a foam backed chenille rug. It's not terrible, but if you are looking for a traditional shag, this is not it. I decided to keep it because I will probably get $50 use out of it, but this will not last a long time. The first thing the instructions tell you is not to wash it. This is evident in the bald ridges that are immediately apparent. If it lost any more hair it would be a problem. So if you are looking for cheap chenille to last a moderate amount of time, buy it. The color is great and the look is not bad, it's just not a lasting purchase. ... show more

    • Soft, FLUFFY, a little tough to vacuum
I’ve had this rug for a few months now. It definitely fluffs up! Just vacuum it and let it sit for a day or two and you’ll see what I mean. I get a lot of compliments on it with most people saying “WOWWW is there padded foam under this!?!” And indeed, it is padded on the bottom and my guests can apparently tell lol. It is however difficult to clean. Rocks and chewed up dog food will get deep down in the fibers that even vacuuming it can be troublesome sometimes. More so annoying, but it’s worth it.
