My hair is thick and naturally curly. I straighten my hair 99% of the time and tho this product doesn’t straighten my hair if that’s what you are expecting that’s not what makes it so great!! What it does do is it helps keep my hair frizz free in humidity and is a COMPLETE game changer!! I travel alot and when I get hot or in humid weather my straightend hair gets big and frizzy and the curls come back ima wired way lol but this product keeps my hair from doing any of that!!! This product works well on natural 4c hair. I was reluctant to try it, but I'm glad I did. It works way better on my hair versus the Design Essential STS treatment. Also, it's a fraction of the cost they charge in a salon for this type of treatment which runs a couple of hundred dollars. It smells nice, didn't irritate, or burn my scalp at all. My silk press came out just as good as a salon visit. It even lasted through some sweaty gym session with a sweat band of course too. It puffed a little at the roots, but my hair did not revert back. Once it was dry I was able to wrap it with a scarf tied down to lay it back down and/or use the flat iron for a little smoothing. And best of all I can apply this in the comfort of my own home. I followed the exact directions, step by step and even though my hair felt great right after the treatment, after the 1st wash (using the included shampoo+conditioner), my hair went back to almost the same texture as before. It was still frizzy and curly-ish. It had a slighter smoother texture, that’s all- DEFINITELY Not worth the money. Also the after-smell of the treatment is just awful! It’s so bad I have tried to get rid off it during the last few washes by using different shampoos/conditioners that smell good, but I can still smell it, especially when is wet. I would not recommend this - I would just go to a professional salon next time and pay the extra$ for a good product, labor, and the long time it takes to apply a keratin treatment. UPDATE: the company contacted me to ask me which steps I followed. I explained to them that I followed the exact steps listed in the instructions, EVERY SINGLE ONE. They messaged me another 2 times inquiring about the iron temperature I used, and other specific questions, to which I answered. then they emailed me again to tell me They don’t believe I followed the proper steps!! This is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever had! If you are going to email your customers to ask if you followed their instructions (which I very carefully did) and then tell them you don’t believe them you shouldn’t even be in business! I 100% WASTED 100$ and also the ton time I spent applying the product AND answering their pointless messages. IF I COULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARTS I WOULD!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I been looking at this for like a year. From the reviews I was afraid it wouldnt work. This is the same brand they use in the salon when I get it done for $200. I didn't think it could give me the same results so I decided to get the salon treatment again 3 months ago. I didn't use the GK hair products to maintain it this time (the salon raved about another product which sucked) as a result my treatment didn't last at all. This time I decided to give this a try but I was really skeptical. My hair is super thick and coarse and frizzy. Did this treatment according to the instructions on the box, it turned out just like the salon. Now the true test will be how it holds up after washing. I will update..... Update: its been almost 2 months and my hair is still frizz free. I did buy the deep conditioner packets and use it once per week. I hope they never stop selling this! ... show more

Follow the instructions mentioned below to get the best results. For those who just wants to reduce frizz and give their hair smooth texture/shiny/ healthy look with little waves WASH the product and then straighten. Your hair will have natural look. THE BEST APPLICATION PROCESS: 1. Wash hair twice with the GKhair pH+ Clarifying Shampoo. 2. Towel dry hair. Comb through with GKhair Vent Brush and section hair into 4 parts. 3. Apply "The Best" with application brush 1/4 inch away from the scalp on each section. 4. Comb through the entire head making sure that the treatment is properly distributed and remove the excess treatment with fine-tooth comb. 5. Message GKhair The Best Throughout the hair. 6. Let sit 15-60 minutes (From 15 minutes for fine, wavy hair to 60 minutes for thick, coarse, tight curls). 7. Blow Dry the hair 100% while applying tension on the hair using GKhair Thermal Round Brush. 8. Flat iron the hair in small sections with One Touch Titanium Flat iron to seal the hair cuticles. 9.
