Features

  • GINCHAIN Convex Shape T Garage Door Bottom Weatherproof Seal and Pre-Drilled Retainer Kit. Easy installation, great for steel or wood roll up doors. This retainer can be used in the bottom of many sliding doors, entry doors and other types of garage doors
  • Garage Door Weather stripping & Accessories: The package includes 5 x 3.35ft long aluminum T sandblasting aluminum retainer track (totally 16.5 Feet), 1 x 16.5-feet long U+O ring shape design weather seal, 1 x screw kit. The aluminum rails and seals are longer than the data length to ensure you have more room for adjustment and you can cut the length as needed
  • Upgraded Performance: On the basis of the traditional garage seal, adjusted the size of the seal slot to make the installation process easier, U+O ring shape design can better block dust and garbage from entering the garage. Use EPDM rubber instead of PVC for better processability, low temperature properties and compression. Guard your garage at all times, even in extreme temperature conditions (-40 to 240F)
  • Installation Tips: Cleaning the bottom of the garage door before starting the installation, pre-drill rail can be easily fixed to the bottom of the garage door with screws. Applying detergent when installing the rubber seal will make it easier to install
  • About Rubber: Rubber seals may harden at low temperatures, making installation difficult. Soak in hot water (150F-180F) for 1-3 minutes to soften and restore original shape

  • Well made, very good fit.
Size: 16.5FT Color: Black(Convex-Track)
This review for the Convex shaped track and rubber seal. They are very well made and worth the wait, shipping took almost a month. very good value for the money. Fit the base of my garage door like a glove. Has enough length and extra screws. Installation straight forward. Actually it was a nice family project with the kids. End results very satisfying. We’ll see how it holds up. I recommend this product. Thanks ... show more

  • This is a great garage door rubber bottom seal and track package!
Size: 16.5FT Color: Black (1-5/8" Width)
I have an older garage door and the rubber bottom seal and aluminum track both needed to be replaced. I have to say this product worked perfectly. Besides that I found the materials to be of high quality. I am not a skilled handyman but the provided directions were very clear and made the job a success. Note that the track comes in multiple pieces vs the typical one piece track when purchased at a building materials store but it attached and performed no differently. The bottom seal weather protection has been perfect. We have had major rain storms since I installed and not a drop getting into the garage. The rubber tube inside the outer seal does the trick (the rubber is heavy duty). If you look closely at the picture you will notice how the door stands just a little higher off of the cement than a door that doesn't have the rubber tube inside. I also appreciated that Ginchain provided five extra self tapping metal screws than needed to complete the work, just in case. I am very happy with this purchase and the years of good service this product should provide. ... show more

  • Finally a fit for my Stanley steel door!
I tried three other products for my 30 year old door and none fit. This one fit, was fairly easy to install, and with an abundance of liquid soap and silicone spray, I was able to slide the 10’ rubber gasket into place myself. Appears to be a well made product at a fair price. (Be prepared to cut off a fraction of an inch from the final piece of aluminum, if necessary.) Unfortunately, the supplier provides wood screws when pan-head screws would be more appropriate…..thus my 4 star rating. ... show more

  • Easy to install seal
Size: 16.5FT Color: Black (1-5/8" Width)
Product arrived as described, rails intact and undamaged, plenty of screws (with extra) for install. The rubber seal felt suitably robust. Time will tell re: durability. Rails were a little long for my garage door but cut down pretty easily with a hacksaw. Make sure your garage door is safely off or supported so it won't crash down on you during install! Remove the old seal and clean the bottom of the door (just used a brush to brush off dust and debris). Taped rails onto the bottom of the door (used painters tape) to align and pre-drill holes. MAKE SURE THE RAILS ARE LINED UP! You don't want them offset - will make seal install more difficult if it catches during install. Permanently attached with supplied screws (hand tightened) with no issues. Toughest part was getting the seal to slide into the rail. I decided to cut the seal to size after install to be sure of length, but you can cut before install I guess - would likely be a much cleaner cut than I was able to manage after the fact. Garage door bottom should be at a comfortable height for this next part, I suggest somewhere between elbow and shoulder height. Supplied instructions mention a few drops of soap in water to help lube the track - luckily I had a spray bottle of dilute soapy water from a previous project. This really made this part much easier! Liberally spray the rail and the seal (both sides!) as you go, and make sure you guide the seal at the insertion site. Instructions say to guide it straight about a foot from rail edge, but I didn't have that room. Guiding it in with your hand at the edge of the rail is a necessity. It can flex/bunch up a little and catch at the rail edge stopping the seal from going in. A second pair of hands will definitely help; even a little bit of coordinated extra tugging or pushing from the far end will help greatly (wife or kid will be sufficient, coordination is key)! Seal is much more secure than the old foam seal previously stabled to the bottom of my garage door. TLDR: good quality rails and seal, straightforward install. Will update if there is early failure. ... show more

  • Elbow and Grease
Size: 16.5FT Color: Black (1-5/8" Width)
It is easy to install. The hard part or time-consuming is the preparation. If it's a new door, nothing to worry about. You need to remove the existing seal, nails, and staples to prep if it is an existing one. I like the ingenuity behind this product of having a tract and a seal to slide into. Very clever. ... show more

  • Heavy duty
Purchased due to reviews and am very happy. I cut the metal with my compound miter saw and turned out perfectly. I then applied caulk on the metal, used tape and paint sticks to line it up on the door. The screws do not sit flush inside all the way but catch the rail. This did not affect it negatively at all. The rubber slide in real easy on one side and I had to use a big flat head screwdriver to push in the opposite side. Very easy to do. The rubber is very thick and heavy duty. This should last. The floor is uneven so I ordered a rubber threshold to put underneath. This is an old wood door that isn’t level so there is a small gap. ... show more

  • Makes a good seal.
Size: 16.5FT Color: Black (1-5/8" Width)
My old metal doors had a rotten rubber seal that was letting dirt and mice into my shop. The existing track was not in very good shape. I installed the new tracks and slid the rubber seal into the slot cutting it a little longer than necessary which worked well. I now have a really good seal on the bottom of my doors. I am not sure if the mice will eat their way through or if the sun will damage the rubber in time. So far I am impressed. ... show more
