One light out the box stopped working. Now after about a week out in the yard looks like another is already starting to not work. Good price I thought, product not so good. After taking the top off, I replaced the adapter battery and fixed the negative wire, which somehow was stripped not all the way cut (possibly pinched when assembled). The light is now working. The media could not be loaded. I love how bright they are. I also like the lantern look that they have. Just remember as with all lights that are solar powered it’s important to wipe them off every once in a while. In order to prevent stakes from breaking, I suggest using a screwdriver to pre-dig your holes before pushing them into the ground. Overall I like the lights. However one of them does not turn on and yes I temoved the cover turned the switch to the on position. Another of the lights is tempermental and only turns on with a tap or wiggling with the cover multiple times. 10/12 work fine. The soft light lumens with this system are excellent for accenting the border and gives sufficient lighting for nite time strolls. The product support was amazing. After installation during the holidays I had a couple of lights that had issues so I emailed the seller. I have never had such prompt and professional support. These lights are easy to assemble and are value priced, however, they really aren't very bright and do not hold a charge long. 4 hours after the sun sets, the lights are barely lit.
