I waited a long time for a shower curtain that would fit into my bathroom in color, style, and length. I could not be any more happy. It is not a thick polyester but it is still a very nice fabric. I washed it aleady and had no problems there so the construction seems to be good. I thought it a tad pricey for how thin it was; but, it had a good quality picture, washed and dryed really well, and it was longer in length than the standard size. I won't be using this as a stand alone curtain so I won't be able to speak about water resistant, if it is or how long it will last.
