We usually arrive a bit early for our homeschooling park day, so we had a chance to set up a course before everyone arrived. Passerbys were intrigued, and a few kids in the 2-4 age range weren't at all shy about running to explore before their parents could ask if we minded. I was thrilled that they enjoyed it! When our friends came, they had so much fun. They took turns making courses for each other and going over the included sheet to see what the suggestions were. It was a hit! Surprisingly, the frisbee ended up being the most popular item. I'm a bit ashamed that one of my kids was unfamiliar with how they worked, but he had a lot of fun with it. When I think of all of the kids that were able to enjoy this course today, the value is pretty incredible! The bag is very nice too, everything easily fit inside, the seams are strong, and it was easy to tote over my shoulder along with a diaper bag and the baby. We'll be bringing it again to our park days, and likely family reunions too! The Taekwondo hitting mat seems a little out of place to me, but I really like it too! My husband trained in the art for a few years when he was in college and he was pleased with it. He too was surprised when he saw that it came with outdoor relay race things, but we added it to our sparring gear and we're not complaining. It's very nice. Overall it's a great collection to inspire physical activity. Homeschool park day is a great avenue because sometimes the kids get bored with the playground equipment where we meet and this got even the bigger kids active. This is a fantastic set if you're working to help a tween or teen work on agility for any sport. The pack comes with lots of options including three hurdles, five small cones, a twelve rung agility ladder to run drills with, a target pad, discs with a holder, and a helpful workout guide. It also has a wristband and an uninflated ball (which we didn't use yet). You have to be careful because the ladder can get tangled fairly easily, and it takes some time to sort it out if you don't store it properly. This kit comes with all sorts of things. I got it for my husband who's a high school football coach for him to use with the drills for his players. There were a few pieces of this kit he won't be using - like the inclusion of a frisbee (which was a bit flimsy) and the kick pad thingy (I don't know the official name) were a waste for our purposes. There was also this black plastic piece that was randomly included that we still haven't figured out what it's for. But overall, this kit was what he wanted for running the drills with his linemen and he was excited it came with a carrying bag to bring everything to the field with him. So far so good. The kids seem to like it. Unsure how it will last long term, thus the 4 stars. But so far it seems okay. I like the colors - bright and easy to identify. One of the kids is in football so it's really for him to be able to practice at home and get outside a bit as well. Good set, comes with a lot of different options for exercise.
