Bought a dozen for a pool deck. Two failed within a month and another two a month later. It’s $20ea and fast shipping so I just ordered extras. Note as well if you’re installing them flush against a wall outdoors, the top will trap rainwater. Not a great design even though it’s waterproof, since this increases the chances of water penetrating. I drilled holes in the wood to let it run off. Still for the price I think it’s decent value. The only downside is the fixture did not come with proper insulation instructions. Thankfully, I am married to a craftsman as well as a jack of all trades. Anyone unfamiliar with electrical will have problems.

    • Super Tiny Disappointing Bright As Heck Lamp

I should've read the description better. This light is TINY. I mean, it's ok I guess but I'm not thrilled with it over all. First, it's smaller than a soda bottle. Honestly, my travel coffee mug is bigger than this light. So if you're looking for something larger for your wall, this isn't it. Next, there's no cord. This is a bare, wire in yourself light. Comes with nothing to help you wire it up other than the instructions, so be sure you know how to access the wires in your walls, or splice a cord onto it. Luckily, my husband is handy and had no real issues with this, but he wasn't really expecting it to be this way. Next, this thing is CRAZY BRIGHT. Like, if you look at it, you're going to spend the next 2 hours bumping blindly into things in your house, bright. We meant it to add a little "cozy" lighting to our fairly dim living room, and while it looks ok from across the room, pity the poor person sitting beneath it who is crying that their eyes are melting. This silly little light contains half the direct power of the sun or something, I'm telling you. Over all, we aren't thrilled with it, but since we went through all the hassles to strip wires and mount the thing, we aren't returning it. It's just very, very rarely turned on. Like maybe, when I need to find a needle in thick berber carpet, or a contact lens on a piece of glass, or I just want to get a severe migraine while I read a book, then I may use it. Other than that, it stays off. I will say, it's well made and looks good. Just, they could do so much better... ... show more

Would have rated it higher but I had to buy a replacement after 2 yrs. The LED's did not burn out, The LED driver for the light stopped working and was hard to find a new replacement LED driver so I would not have to buy a new light fixture. That was the only draw back on this light. It's a great light when watching TV, kinda like being in the Movies Theater. ... show more

This is a really cool accent light. The design it makes on the wall is even better than the pictures. The white is on the cooler side, about 3000k - 3200k and I would have preferred a warmer color but there was no light fixture alternative with a warmer light in this pattern. It is to be hardwired which my electrician had no issue putting these up. The base was slightly smaller than my existing hole in the wall (the fixture it was replacing) but the shell of the light fixture covers up the slight difference in size. The wiring is for European but my electrician understood it and was able to install it with no problem. I'm super excited with this light fixture. I had two installed on either side of my sofa and it adds a contemporary artistic element to the room. It's clearly not meant to light the room or serve as a task light in any way. Great value for money. Excellent built quality. 8 LED's were like having a 100 bulb. Way too bright for the application. Color temperature way too white. I am returning it. Nice simple design, but just not practical for a subtle wall lighting. Packing box had boxes for light color but were not marked. Option was pure white or warm white. This was pure white. Light cover is held on with 2 allen screws. Allen wrench was supplied. Product is from china, very poor instructions, basically no instructions at all. ... show more

The pro: Very attractive & give that design look like you see! However... The con: They don’t give off enough light! Even though it’s for a movie room & theyll be off most of the time - you want to be able to see when you’re looking for something or want to read something. My electrician told me that the wattage is very low on these- which if you don’t care about that- these are great! I do like them & we will have overhead can lights added in our room but if I had to order them again- I’d get something brighter for when needed! ... show more

Super easy installation but the pics they show to market it are beyond misleading. It's sooo small. 6". We're moving so whatever but jeez. Super cute. Way pretty. Great light. But....tiny. wouldn't cover an electrical box. Luckily had a tiny wiring hole to work with. The pics they show flanking the entry door...those would have to be 18" .misleading ... show more
