This body wash is a good choice for people with sensitive skin like me. It has an unscented option, which I appreciate because I don’t like strong fragrances in my bath products. I also have a history of backne, which sometimes flares up. Since I started using this body wash, I noticed fewer breakouts, but that might not be the case for everyone. The body wash is very thick and concentrated, so you only need a small amount (about an inch in diameter). Dilute it with water and lather thoroughly for best results. I only use it on the areas where I get acne, so it lasts longer. I will continue using it for a few more months to see if it keeps working for me. ... show more

I've been using Geologies hair care products and love them, so gave this a try. It rules. Rinses off clean, doesn't dry out your skin. Also, I have a beard and sensitive face skin, and both get insanely itchy at random times. IDK why, but this makes the itch go away instantly. The bottle is very premium with a cool twist top. I used this product everyday as instructed. I saw no reduction in acne. Still had new blemishes developing over the time of use. Won’t buy again

I love this product. Great consistency, lather is spot on: not too bubbly and not too not bubbly. A little gors a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time. Viva Geologie!

    • It's just SO thick/concentrated it's hard to spread around on your skin.
I don't know. While I like thicker body washes because they stay in your hand long enough to get it to your body and around on it, the Geologie Acne Control Superclean Body Wash almost takes it to the extreme lol. I thought it was difficult to get it spread around and lathering up easily unless I was standing almost under the shower spray itself to get more water into the body wash. It does lather up but differently for some reason. No real scent to it which some may prefer and probably less irriating to skin but I generally like a fragrance of some kind. While I picked this up for acne issues on my back when it gets hot and the combination of dirt, sweat, and oil cause me to break out, currently the weather hasn't reached the temperature range where it is a big issue for me. BUT I have also been using it on my face and notice that it has helped a lot on controlling excessive oil in areas that I DO get breakouts and my face feels clean and comforable using it. I've also noticed that it's been a good three weeks since I've had or seen any pimples erupting on my skin. Normally my pores get clogged and rubbing my nose or touching it I get those painful bumps rise or swell up and have to reach for my facial scrub. ... show more

The bottle. The bottle and lid is absolutely my favorite thing about this product. This is the first time I’ve ever seen body wash packaging like this, it’s very unique. To open it, you just twist the lid a bit and a small opening in the top opens up. I love not having to take the lid all the way off in the shower. It’s very convenient and easy to open when my hands are all wet. Honestly once this body wash is all gone I’ll probably keep the bottle lol. The body wash itself is okay. It doesn’t have much of a scent. It lathers up nicely and I feel nice and clean after using it. I can’t say that it helps control or clear acne. Maybe I just haven’t been using it long enough yet.
