    • Does not have a rear charging port! Still good though.
Purchased the controller thinking that it would have LED backlit bands around the grips and touchpad. I was somewhat disappointed that it is just paint. It does seem to be somewhat fluorescent, but it is not lighted the way that it APPEARS to be in the photographs. That would have been cool! There is no front facing light but there is a light on top between the home key and the touchpad. This is fine for me. My biggest surprise was that there is NOT a rear charging port, so I cannot charge it on the cradle charger that I use for my Sony controllers. That is sometimes inconvenient. I had to dig out a USB cable to charge it from the front of the controller. As far as comfort, the Options Button is larger and more raised than the Sony controller. I love this. I have one game (Elex) where I'm using the Options Button frequently to bring up inventory and it was becoming painful to activate it over and over with the stock controller's recessed options button. It is much easier with this unit. I like the size of the controller, similar to the Sony. I like the more pronounced texture of the grips. The buttons seem responsive and the controller has worked well with various games. Just as a nuisance, your Playstation will notify you that you're not using a Playstation controller! It will sometimes decide to notify you well into the loading or even playing of a game which is somewhat distracting. I can't believe that the people with super expensive competition controllers have to deal with this message when using a custom controller, but that's Sony's doing , not the controller's fault. Overall, I have bought 3 of these in the last 6 months and I like them, Especially for the price. Battery life seems fine . Its a good product I'll update if things change. ( The 3 that I purchased have different colored banding and are different brands, but they all look and feel the same to me. I'm not sure why 1 company is producing these controllers but reselling them to other people to put their own random branding on them. I'd be proud to sell this controller under a single unified brand with all colors available on a single product page. But you just have to search around if you want a different color of banding and a good price. I've found red, blue and torquiose so far.) Happy Gaming ! ... show more

    • Great for the price, but has some flaws
My original PS4 controller died and when I went on the hunt for another Sony licensed controller, my wallet ran away and hid. PS4 controllers in my opinion should all be under $30. Anyways this controller was a great alternative with a sweet price. There are 2 major flaws, the first is the battery life is maybe two hours? I have to charge it pretty frequently. The second flaw is that at random moments it will disconnect and the vibration will go off until the controller dies or until you hold the PS button for 30sec. I mostly play rpgs and Jrpgs so this doesn't disrupt my play too much but if you play fast past or competitive/online games, you'll want a different controller. ... show more

For the price it's fine. Mine lasted a few months before drift set in that I couldn't fix via taking it apart and cleaning with compressed air. But it got the job done in a pinch. If you can't afford a licenced ps4 controller this will work fine.

    • How to pair with PC: Search for PS controller pairing
Couldn't find it in the reviews or Q&A so if any one's curious, do exactly this to pair this controller with your PC: Go to your Bluetooth menu by typing it in your search bar. After the menu pops up, choose "Add Bluetooth or other device" and choose the top option "Bluetooth - Mice, keyboards, pens, etc." While your PC searches for your device, on the controller - press the "SHARE" and "HOME" buttons simultaneously and wait for the lights on the controller to flash. Windows should see an input controller pop up. Once you add that, it will download the firmware automatically then it will be ready to use. If using Steam, make sure to set it up. But true it's definitely worth the it if you can purchase an expensive normal ps4 controller. It doesn't come with a charger tho

This product feels like cheap plastic, supper light and dies quickly. Although it is cheap. My product wouldn't connect to my ps4, so I used it on my brothers, and after very little gaming it died.
