  • Differences
In my case the application although 787 engine had differences. The major one was the carburetors had a built in fuel pump where my boat 98 seadoo speedster had a separate fuel pump. It was necessary to use the fuel pump on carburetor and not use the old fuel pump. Gas to labeled line, pulse to pulse. The fuel return line was facing different direction and fitting was different. Looking thru the internet and manual the return line uses a Y type adapter. Doing it this way worked fine by using a slow arcing hose reversing direction of return line to accommodate the 98 speedster. Then it wouldn’t start. Reading articles one gentleman stated you needed to prime the gas lines and he was exactly correct. Carbeurators are working great just not straight forward install on a 98 speedster. ... show more
