I like this rug a lot because it isn't the cheap minky chenille garbage all non slip rugs seem to be these days. This is a printed, flat weave rug which is what I am always looking for. It isn't rough, but it isn't plush and it is perfect for in my laundry room. Laundry is right off my kitchen and I am considering ordering the 5x7 to put under the kitchen table. The ‘GENIMO Area Rug 2x3 Non-Slip Doormat’ is interesting in that unlike most small rugs it has rounded corners I have found that these corners are more likely to lie flat and thereby reduce tripping hazards. The non-slip backing holds this rug firmly in place, as well. This printed rug is in shades of deep sage and brown with perfectly formed gray overlock stitching finishing the edges. There is no ‘upright’ nap. The texture is flat and more flannel-like than plush. I am using this rug under an office chair. what a great price for this area rug, so many others of this size cost much more but the quality of this one is just as good and I love the color too. We turned the house over for spring/summer, we went with green rugs throughout and this one went in the kitchen by the sink. It looks great, it is made well, feels soft, doesn't slip, the color and pattern do not show the dirt like some of the others do but we wash them routinely and it is machine washable. This is area rug is perfect at the entrance doorway! I love how light weight it is - easy to shake off if need be. I also like the fact this rug is machine washable!
