I previously owned Gemini MDJ500's and though they are glitchy from time to time, I found them to be a decent set of Media Player for the 6+ years I used them. I recently decided to purchase Gemini MDJ 900's and I'm very satisfied with the players. They have several functions the 500's don't have. You can't go wrong with the price of these 900's compared to the insane prices for other media players. I'm no club DJ, I use them to play and record music at home, but I feel these 900's can do just as well as the high end players in a gig setting. I have only used it once, and I noticed that the sound has very little bass compared to my numark and peavey media players, but I will keep it as a back-up. The control knobs all work just fine; it's just lacking bass in the sound that comes from it.
