You can hook up your instrument and microphone. At one point, we had two guitars hooked in, one wired and one wireless, with a wireless microphone. No issues with interference. The portability is the best aspect of this system. It sounds okay; clear mids and highs but lacks low end punch. I would recommend for vocal PA, live blues/jazz music, karaoke gigs. I suggest pairing this system with a subwoofer to carry the low notes. Not powerful enough for professional use but it has professional features. The mixer, speakers, stands and microphones are a really good combination! This is a wonderful and easily assembled and moved system. The microphone is the least important and it meets that expectation. Buy another set of microphones and enjoy the benefits of this speaker combo.

I purchased this to do some street busking with my guitar. I was super excited. I couldn’t wait to get out and start playing on the streets. It arrived.. I grabbed it. plugged it in. I plugged my guitar in. I plugged in my backing tracks in.. I was so excited and then; NO SOUND!!WTF!!. It turns on, but nothing comes out of it. I read the reviews Afterwards, they said the same thing kind of sad because they sell this at guitar center. so I figured it had to be a good product.. this is the second thing that I’ve ordered off Amazon, That was delivered today and doesn’t work . I don’t know if they’re sending Amazon garbage, but two electronics that I’ve purchased from Amazon for faster shipping came today and neither one of them worked..errr! I should have purchased from guitar Center . I’ll be purchasing from guitar Center from here on out. this does not work. and I purchased it from Amazon. don’t waste your money with Amazon!     • MP3 input EQ is a mess

I love the convenience, portability, simple setup. Build quality is so-so, and the nylon enclosures feel as if they would easily break with moderate impact. Built-in echo effect is a nice addition. The mic / instrument inputs have two-band EQ, but unfortunately the MP3 input does not. I used an adapter cable (1/8" on one end for my laptop output, to split 1/4" plugs) to feed mixer channels 3-4 inputs. At least this gave me some EQ by splitting right and left. However, for my tastes this thing requires a subwoofer to be acceptable. The good news is there's a monitor output to drive it. ... show more
