    One of the nails in my photo was a professionally done dip manicure with a tip. The other nail I did at home with Gelic ec soft gel full cover tips and the 6-in-1 glue with a couple coats of gel polish. Mine took 6 minutes, the manicure took 90 minutes. The one on top is the Gelic ec one! Needless to say I’m never going back to the nail salon again! Just a few of tips: use the 6-in-1 glue and cure as directed, you can trim and shape these just like natural nails, do it after glued it before your base coat, after glue, gently remove the shine from the whole surface so your color sticks better and if your nail is more curved than the tip, you can gently work it into a sharper curve before you glue it.     These are super easy to use and definitely first time gel X user friendly. My only complaint is that they will crack and chip in the early days of having them On. Maybe I’m just too rough with my hands lol but yeah didn’t expect them to crack so much. You get what you pay for!

    Finally decided to try doing own gel extensions after spending hundreds at the nail salon for nails that lift/are crooked etc. and I’m not disappointed! I tried these tips months ago but gave up bc they popped off after a day BUT my issue was I didn’t make sure the nails fit from side to side on my nail. You can’t grab a extension that’s too small and press it down to fit side to side when you’re curing it bc it will pop off! That’s the biggest tip I have: measure the extensions to each nail first and make sure it fits side to side with no pressure! A few extensions I did have to file around the cuticle area/sides a bit just for a better fit! I’ve had my nails on for a few days and no issues so far. The fact that these are pre etched makes these really easy, you’d really only need a drill for the removal process! My only con is I wish they had a long version of the square nails but I will be trying out the other shapes/lengths If you’ve been thinking about doing your own gel extensions grab these nails! ... show more

    These nails look great. They are a bit more flexibile around the cuticle area and more sturdy at the top of the nail. It looks easy to use. Comes in 11 sizes. I am excited to use these!

    The media could not be loaded. these are AMAZING for diy extensions!! with proper application, they last a super long time. it’s easy to trim, buff, shape, and they hold polish super well. i use these all the time and they’ve lasted me weeks!

    I loved the size range and shape as well as the container organizer it comes in. However, I do wish each slot was labeled with the size number as it’s hard to see the number on each individual tip. That being said it’s easy enough to just sharpie the numbers to the inside of the lid yourself. My biggest issue with these is the integrity of the tips. The bottom layer tends to peel away from the rest after installation so it snags on things and E filing it off/ down makes the nail very flimsy. I’ve used them twice and have had this issue both times. I’ve been doing my own nails for about 6 months and I’ve never had this happen with any other brand of tips.
