  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Very complete
This book has a lot of background and detail on what you need to know about gears of you really want to understand what goes into making them. If you aren't interested in the theory you can just skip to the chapter on how to make them. I'm particularly intersections in to make worm and gear sets and this book seems to have everything I need. I haven't actually done it yet but I am very optimistic that it will turn out well. I recommend it. ... show more

This book is for the die hard readers. I felt like I was in a class of Theory of gears. Very few hands on. If your studying to be an Engineer great book other wise kind of boring material. If your looking on how to replace a gear and make a new one👎 If your looking to get an A on your test go for it. ... show more
