This is the 18" warm white led under cabinet fixture. Installation was easy. The captivated screws worked perfectly to attach the fixture to the underside of the cabinet. I used mine in a dark spot next to my refrigerator. Lots of bright warm light now. This device is light weight and appears to be well made. This light fixture was so easy to install, it already has the screws pre-installed. All you have to do is hold it up and screw it in. Plus it lights up under the counter really nice. I really like this light. It's a great improvement

Really liking this GE undercabinet LED, 24” light. I put this over my husband’s desk to give extra light. It is nice and bright while still being a warm light, not glaring. I secured it with strong, double stick mounting tape under the shelf that is over his desk, and it stays put. There is a handy switch to turn it off and on which is just what I wanted. Many of the undercabinet lights have “hand wave”, autosensors so you can just wave your hand and they turn on. But we have cats that would be waving their tails under it and turning it on constantly, so the switch is a must for us. Great product, fits our needs perfectly. ... show more

These fixtures are awesome! The linking feature allows you to switch all on and off at the same time, or each one independently. They are easy to install and provide excellent daylight illumination to under cabinet areas.

    • So nice I bought it twice!
I bought one first to mount on the underside of a shelf overseeing my two bench. Simple, bright, easy to mount, and exactly what I need. I bought a second for the underside inside of an aquarium cabinet. Also just what I needed. If I were to go for under cabinet lighting in a kitchen or just needed bar lighting that can be daisy chained, I would definitely consider these considering cost, performance, ease of use and setup, and reliability from a known name brand. ... show more

I am replacing under cabinet lights in preparation for a move. I like my old ones better but they don't make them anymore. This GE fixture is just fine. It was easy to get going except that the directions refer to "input port" but don't tell you which end is the input port. Turns out it is the end with the switch. I have the 18 inch warm white. I was worried about the amount of light since the endpieces are 2" wide, so the actual light area is only 14" long, but this light is plenty bright. It is actually brighter than I would prefer, which is not something you normally hear me say. My previous light had 20.5" of actual light and was 700 lumens and I liked that better. I guess because it was slightly dimmer and spread out over a longer length, it was a gentler light but still plenty bright. My old light also had a dim setting which I used when I was not in the kitchen but wanted enough light to come in and out to get something. So obviously I liked my old lights better but at the price level I was willing to consider, this GE light does a good job. I used Command picture strips to hang them and Command cord organizer clips to manage the excess cord. ... show more
