FINALLY. This is the one. Nicely designed with larger buttons and all the features anyone would need. Comfortable to hold in hand, love that this remote has the classic rocker type volume and channel buttons! Great price, decent quality, pre-set to work with Samsung and Roku devices right out of the package. There are also instructions included for programming many other TV manufacturers as well as soundbar and cable codes. Better than the original remote our TV came with. This is a very good remote for a friend whose vision is only fair and whose hands and fingers shake and don't allow for precise button-pushing on remotes with small buttons. The print on the large buttons is easy to read (though not backlit). It doesn't have some functions that the original remote has, but for my friend hat's fine because it's simpler to use. The size and weight are comfortable. Works fine with a Vizio TV, includes printed list of codes for lots of brands and devices. This little inexpensive remote worked great for my Vizio TV that I lost the remote on. It's super easy to use and you can see the button is really well. It's also super lightweight and I was able set it up myself!

Very simple and easy to use. The most important buttons, channel / volume - up / down" are HUGE. Backlit. Easy to use. Programming the remote was simple following the included instructions. I got it on the first code that I typed in for our Toshiba TV. Why'd I buy this? We just got an Amazon Fire TV at a super sweet deal. Cutting the cord. The old TV in the living room has been sent back to my dad's bedroom now and working from OTA Antenna for local digital television. The "Dish" installer, years back, stole our old Toshiba remote, so I had to get a new one. It works great and dad loves having a TV in his bedroom now. The Amazon Fire TV is awesome too. I have dropped the remote that came with this tv , so many times, it cracked on the side…Hubby called me Butter fingers-guilty as charged !! So I order this one. I had trouble programming it to our tv…just took awhile. It works fine. But because we have to have an external antenna on the wall, i have to re-scan for the channels from time to time…we don’t have cable , so there it is. But, though this remote works well, i will NOT allow me to re scan the tv…and i have to be able to do that. (The old remote, that i cracked open still worked some, but the crack was right next to the button i needed to use to re scan :(. So what did i do?? Kept the new remote, and had to order a replacement remote for our brand tv. Yes, you’re right…i should have done that in the first place….but at least now , i can tell you that this one does work fine..as long as you don’t have to re scan Your tv , as i did. Well…i do hope i helped somebody out there….this one is also inexpensive- which is nice. Cheers to all !! ... show more
