  • Stable stand
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
I purchased this stand for oddly shaped speaker. Stand reclines back ensuring the speaker doesn’t fall forward. Stand is super sturdy and finish is great

  • Solid frame
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
The build and latching mechanism are both very solid and well built. If you intend to lay your amp at a shallow angle, this is fine. I tried to have a lesser angle with a tube combo amp and because it's so heavy, became unstable. Didn't fall over but felt like it might. My amp weights 42 lbs so something lighter would be fine. All in all, a well built piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Not just for amps!
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
I ordered these because I figured they would work as accordion stands instead of amp stands and they are a PERFECT fit! I’m sure they work very well for amps, but there could also be many other uses for them as well!

  • Works well with 1×10" combo, a little top heavy
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
This thing works well, and actually tilts back a serious amount, more so than others I have seen or owned. My amp is now blasting directly towards my ears, which is good for me, especially at lower playing volumes. Many frequencies get lost when its pointed towards your feet, and you dont hear its true sound. I have an orange rocker combo, and its quite small, about 20" wide and a little over a foot tall, it fits my amp like a glove, very secure. Much bigger than that though, and I would be worried. My amp is relatively compact, but its still quite heavy, as its a tube amp and all. All the components are near the top of the amps cab, so it is quite unstable and wants to fall forwards and backwards. Mine is a close enough fit to the frame to alleviate this problem almost entirely, but a slightly bigger amp wouldn't fit it so well and would definitely become topsy turvy. Wouldn't wanna use it for stage, as it is still somewhat unstable, and I wouldn't want someone bumping my 800 dollar amp slightly and sending it for a fall. All in all, for the price, its good for home use, so I give it 4 stars as it doesnt seem to be intended for pro use. For my bedroom, where its close enough to the wall to catch it should it begin to topple, its just great. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality and Value
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
This is substantially built and sturdy. I read other reviews about it being "top-heavy." That might occur if you position it so that the amp is more vertical, rather than angled so that it leans back. If it is too vertical more of the amp's weight could be in front of the stand rather than over the base, and I think that is what was meant by the "top-heavy" comments. This situation is easily avoided by setting it up so that the amp leans back and the center of gravity is over the base of the stand. I think any amp stand would have the potential for this problem - it's a problem of set-up, not a problem with the stand. I use this stand with a Boss Acoustic Singer Live LT. ... show more

  • Simultaneously one of the best and also most uninteresting things you’ll own as a guitarist
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
Works great! I’ve owned one for years and always thought it was one of the most valuable pieces of gear I have. Sure it’s not flashy, but when the last guy got fired from the gig because the amp was pointing at his knees and he was way too loud, you’ll be thankful you have this. I just now bought two more - one for each of the studios that I teach at. ... show more

  • Supports my 60 pound amp without wobble
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
Very simple amp stand, and it does what is supposed to do. It holds up my 60 pound amp and keeps it rock steady. The extra height makes it easy to fiddle with the knobs and the tilt back makes it easy to actually hear what the amp is putting out without having to be miles away from it--playing directly to your feet makes every amp sound worse than it really does. I've seen some people complaining that it's tippy with a heavy amp, and it just isn't. It is if you use the stand upside down like one guy was, and if you have it on a soft or uneven surface it might be, but if you use your head for something besides a hat rack this stand is rock solid. ... show more

  • If it is not working turn it over!!!
Style: Mid Profile Stand Pattern Name: Amp Stand
I like everyone else pulled the Gator stand out of the box and put it on the floor the way I thought it should be rather than how the picture looks on the box . Put my amp on it and it immediately fell over . Looked a little better at the stand flipped it over and voila, an incredible sturdy stand. This is 50 watt amp at over 35 lbs . Picture is a little misleading the back bar is not as high in the back. Don’t know if camera angle or tilt angle that you set for the amp. Regardless excellent stand with easy access on the Marshall. ... show more
