I have a few Gator items. I'm happy with all the bags and cases. They're well made. It's a way to save a few bucks but not get garbage. This case is a great deal if you ask me. It's a little tight but it's works. I actually like that it's so slim. It's easier for storage and it holds my guitar with it moving around. I have the more expensive case and it's great also. I just wanted to save a few bucks so I got this one. It fits my new EVH 5150 and it also fit my Strat. I'm left handed. So its important that my cases fit universal. A lot of times you will find cases that perfectly fit right handed. You need to check if you're a lefty like me. This will do the trick though. I prefer hard cases over bags for my guitars. This is basic. Has a spot for a bit of cables or whatever. The EVH just fits. If the body was any longer it wouldn't fit. So make sure your guitar will fit. I ordered this case for my Sire V5 (Jazz bass style), and it is a perfect fit. I was concerned as the Sire is a little longer than a jazz bass by a hair,but it is a comfy fit for the guitar. The case is nice, wood with a plush interior. The case latches seem sturdy and the case is what I've come to expect from Gator products. (Good stuff!) I've been using the Gater Guitar Case for my Fender Player Plus Precision Bass, and I couldn't be happier with it. The fit is perfect, and I love the spacious internal compartment that keeps my earbuds and instrument cable organized. The felt lining is incredibly soft and provides excellent protection for my bass. I've been taking this case to gigs for several months now, and it's stood up remarkably well, handling the wear and tear without any issues. The construction of the case is impressive – it's sturdy, and the heavy-duty latches work flawlessly. Considering it's less than half the price of branded cases, it's an incredible value.     • Great case for the bucks !

PROS: This is the second of these cases I’ve bought (for other guitars), and am very pleased with the quality of these cases. They are a little heavy, but seem more than durable for local travel. NOT a road case, but a solid case nonetheless. CONS: I will say this, they can run a little small. The last one I bought for a Bass, was a snug fit, especially with the strap locks adding length overall, so give yourself a little more length when measuring. Also, the inside of the case, where the storage compartment is, sets up too high. It still fits well, but the neck rest inside the of the case, puts added pressure on the neck, but doesn’t worry me at all. Plush enough that it feels well protected. Would like to see a snap strap added for extra stability. Will buy again…cause I need another Bass….😬 ... show more

Fits my American Stratocaster like a glove. Soft on the inside with a large storage compartment and a hard protective outside. A bit amaller then I expected but that is probably because I am used to coffin cases. Very high quality for the money , no regrets.

    • To all Randy Rhoads - Polka Dot Flying V owners - Important information about this case.

I needed a case for a Randy Rhoads Polka Dot Flying V. There are not many options that will work for this guitar. A Gibson Flying V is not tall enough and everything that might work is too much money. I took measurement and my concern was for the lower bout (widest part of the V). It looked iffy that it would fit. I took a chance and I am glad I did. The guitar fit perfectly. It is a gigantic case. It is made decently. If you are looking for a flight case, keep looking. If you are looking for something to protect your baby around the house and car travel to and from gigs, this one is perfect. Hope this helps another Randy Rhoads fanatic out. ... show more
