While I wish the arms on each light were about 6" longer, the lights themselves helped to start seeds during a very cloudy 2 week period & keep my other plants that like "shaded light" healthy & happy when it was gloomy. I really like these lights but I gave it 4 stars just because of how I received them. They were missing the AC adapters that the USB plugs in to and one tube of lights didn't work. They sent me a replacement set and they arrived with every in the box and everything working. These lights are great they have the LED lights so they don't get hot. they lights can be timed and you can also use different combinations together or alone (white, green, red, blue) I use them all together because I have a variety of needs for the different lights. They have a strong clip and clips on to the side of my plant stand and it stays tight. I love them and so do my plants because in Northeast Ohio they don't get much sunshine especially during the winter. Also if you are interested in that plant stand... it is really nice too!!! It's the GDLF Tall Plant Stand it stand 71" tall and very very sturdy. It comes the 2 halves and it's not hard to put together. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these to be able to bring plants inside from the greenhouse for winter. I lost a fortune worth of plants in 2022 winter and organized an extra bedroom to house MANY of my plants. I hoped these would allow me to keep my plants from dying until I could put them back outside and they worked. The upside is they have a 16 hour timer which is how much time you need for starting seeds. Most others go to 12 hours. However, the lights are not bright and they’re less than a foot long. I should have researched more.
