I now have replaced my lowrance units in both my boats with garmin units. The only difference is one is 7" the other 9". So much more user friendly. And I didn't loose any functions that I require for great lakes and even smaller impoundments.

Haven't hooked it up yet but very sturdy and just what I need. Really upset it didn't come with a cover. Found one for 20 bucks and ordered it. Also found another offer on amazon for same unit with a cover for ten bucks more... wtf....
