Great Rug. Low pile. I’m using this in my bathroom, which is a good size n it fits so nicely. The color is not dull but has a soft shine n feels good under foot. With the low pile it is also easy to vacuum. At a great price point n was well worth it.

So... I am an avid Amazon customer, and I usually know the quality of what I am going to get. Sometimes I choose to purchase lower quality because that's the type of product I need for the situation. If I need top quality, I know how to find it and I pay an appropriately higher priced item. In this case, I knew I wasn't buying a top quality rug. I was okay with that. I read the reviews and even the less positive reviews described what I needed-- a thinner, synthetic monochromatic rug. I think I had reasonable expectations. What I received was actually SHOCKING. The rug I received in the 12 x 12 size is SO BAD! I think I may have received one that someone returned? Half of the rug looks tattered and has holes where there were previous snags. The raised part that creates a patters is in worse shape on that half. Then the other half looks a bit better. If the whole thing looked like the better half, it would be much better. The way it is shipped is HORRIBLE. It is folded up and crammed into a box. Not rolled. Not protected by plastic. Nothing. Folded up like an old blanket and shoved in a box. Again, I'd be fine with the packaging except for the fact that it has left stretched out parts of the rug that will not settle down flat on the floor. It's terrible. Even though the price I paid (around $180) for a 12 x 12 is very inexpensive for the size, I'm just not sure the rug is worth much of anything. It would better be described as an outdoor carpet or something suitable for a warehouse or industrial setting. Yuck. So disappointed with the 12 x 12. What's strange is that we also ordered a 5 x 7 in the same color, and it is totally fine. It looks much better. The backing on it is much sturdier, and therefore it lays flat and looks like a carpet should, even though it's thinner. ... show more

Rug exceeded expectations. It is huge and soft. The rubber backing keeps it in place. The Cinder Gray has a slate-bluish hue rather than what, say, a charcoal gray would be. These are not washable, because I imagine one false move and the back would blow off into a million pieces in your washing machine BUT, I had to wash mine. And on a cold, gentle cycle with a little detergent, it came out just fine. Not sure I'd pop it in the dryer though. I'd buy these again. The only downside is that they do smell a bit like sulphur but I bet that'll go away in time. ... show more

This is an inexpensive carpet. That's okay because I was seeking an inexpensive carpet. It has a cheap rubberized backing which would be suitable for a bathroom. My only complaint is that it is shipped folded up in a box. When you unfold it there are creases where it is folded and these are difficult to remove. I needed to place a wooden board across the center crease, load a couple hundred pounds of ballast and wait a couple of weeks to remove the crease. Kind of annoying! Carpets should be shipped rolled up on round cardboard like paper towels or rolls of toilet paper. ... show more
