I used this carrier as an alternative to a plastic uncomfortable carrier for my cat. He seemed to like it right away and it worked perfectly for what I needed it to do. I think it’s a good product for the price. For reference, I have a big 16 pound cat and he fit fairly comfortably.

This was useful as a quick cat taxi, because it is lightweight, but there’s really no padding for cat’s comfort. The zippers at the corners kind of stick, which is not easy when a pet resists being stowed. The mesh panels are a nice feature, but it’s too small for an average cat to stand up in. We set one up and left it in the Livingroom. Our cats played in and around it and slept in it. When it came time to take 3 to the vet for neutering we set them all up and they went in easily. So easy to carry! Easy to set up. Easy to fold up flat to store for future use. We love them! <3 So many ways to get them in and out. And a place to carry treats, or paperwork! We use this to take our puppy to the vet sometimes. Other times, we use a car seat. I like that it lies flat when unzipped. When it’s zipped up, it mostly holds its shape. It depends which end is open. One end has one zipper (one door). If this is open, that end will collapse. The other end has two zippers (one door and one window). If the door is open, that end collapses. If the window is open, the whole thing keeps its shape. The zippers can be tricky, but that’s a safety feature. Once you know just how to use them, it’s a piece of cake. It’s funny to write that zippers have a learning curve, but these ones do. Overall, a great travel carrier, but she’s going to grow out of it soon. She’s 8 lbs and it’s a comfortable fit. She should grow to about 20 lbs, and it’s not big enough for that. ... show more
