I have an 18# cat who needed to see veterinarian. I am having back problems and bought this carrier to lighten the load and allow me to hold her close to my body. It’s a very nice carrier. The only thing I did not think was 100% was it doesn’t keep its shape unless the “door” is closed which decreases the sturdiness. Taking my cats to the vet has always been a hassle but this carrier makes it alot easier! This is the 2nd carrier I've bought because I have 3 cats and all 3 of my cats love them. At first I did not realize my soft cat carrier had arrived. Just about when I was going to call Amazon for a lost package I decided to open a thin box I thought went with my other purchase. The soft cat carrier is easy to assemble and allows for plenty of air circulation. Set it up a couple of days ahead of when you need it so it can air out and your pet can climb in and out of it. I bought this carrier as an extra because I had 2vet appointments at the same time. It’s a great quality carrier. I left it out a few days before the appointment and my 16 lb cat thought it was her new home. Unfortunately. It was a little small for my 20 lb boy to be able to turn around.
