I bought this when I was planning for a trip to France, Italy and Switzerland this summer and I just got back from our trip and boy was I glad I got this. Milan summer was unpredictable and when we got caught in a downpour, this came in handy! Luckily, this fit right in my purse and I carried it with me during the time we were out and about. The biggest selling point for me is its size and the black and white window pane print! Easy to stick in your handbag on rainy days and very lightweight. The only thing I didn't like about it is that opening the umbrella is tricky. The part that slides the umbrella open does not always easily snap onto the notch that's supposed to keep it in place. As a 72 year old woman who worshipped the sun in my earlier years, I am now paying the price. I’ve had many basal and squamous skin cancers, and unfortunately some were on my face. Now I am never in the sun and always wear sunscreen. Maybe a got the one in a million that didn't work, but when I I try to open the umbrella it doesn't stay open. Like it wouldn't click into place. When I did get it open it would just close itself.
