The umbrella looks nice and it stores on the side of a backpack. It's perfect to keep in an empty shoe cubby or the car for unexpected rain. Keep in mind, few umbrellas do well in the wind and this one less so. You can't really beat the price though.

Its compact which is what I wanted the most. It is great for rainy days but once a gust of wind hits it, it does turn inside out. So far it has still stayed together well and is sturdy, but I am not sure how it will be after a few more wind gusts. I love that this little umbrella is light and compact enough to fit in my purse for travel to London. It opens up to a nice sturdy, regular sized umbrella that's good for blocking both sun and rain. I bought one for my husband and one for me, and his fits in his tiny backpack. Highly recommend! Update: we are back from London, and so are both umbrellas in perfect shape. We were so lucky to have brought them because it rained every single day we were there. I bought this for an upcoming trip to Universal. I always carry disposable rain ponchos, however, sometimes the rain is just light or lasts just a few minutes and I don't want to open and waste a poncho. So, I thought I would try a small umbrella that would fit in my fanny pack and I could just use while walking between rides then easily put away, and this definitely fits the bill. It is super compact and fits in a fanny pack -- so nothing cumbersome that is in the way or a hassle. At theme parks we have enough to carry around, so this is great! It is also the perfect size to fit in the little side pocket in my driver's side door for occasional rain so that I don't have to run to the back and pull out a big full-sized umbrella.
