The shade range on these gels is gorgeous. I’ve used Gaoy brand before and I’ve always been impressed. The viscosity is a bit thick, so just be sure to do your coats on the nail thin! The colors are so pretty and the consistency is good and easy to work with like regular polish. This was my first gel polish set I’ve ever purchased and it’s good for the price. The bottles are a little smaller than average gel polish bottles, but it is expected in a set. I haven’t ran out yet though for my favorite color so that’s good😼. I underestimated the number of layers required for the colors to be opaque. The milky white color my favorite but it takes about 4 layers to achieve the milky white color I like. I use the gel polishes on my natural nails so that may affect the opacity. (don’t judge me on my paint job on my nails, I am no professional— just trying to save money by not going to the nail salon) *the pictures are different colors* ... show more

I’ve only used 2 colors so far. The polish lasts 1 week with no chips. I keep my nails short, which makes my mani last longer. After 1 week of wear, the polish lifted easily from the sides and peeled right off. I use the beetles brand base & top coat. EDIT AFTER A MONTH OF USE: Yeah I don’t like it. They don’t last at all and I’m not going to blast my skin with UV every other day to maintain. I’ve done everything, buffed the nail, filed the nail, added base coat, added top coat. Within a few days, the gel starts to peel. I’m not sure if it’s the natural oil I’m the nail bed… also not sure if it works on acrylic nails instead— I haven’t tried it on top of acrylics. I see a lot of reviews about peeling. This isn’t regular nail polish. You will need UV to cure it. Anyway- it cures super quickly, you do need about two coats. I cured my first coat for 30 seconds, then the last coat for 60 seconds and it was perfect. The polish can get a bit bulky, so make sure you use a light layer. Also- as far as look goes, this does provide a more Jelly-Nail look. I actually really like how classy and dainty the colors are, and the transparency is a nice touch. If you want thicker, more opaque nail polish, not sure if this set will be your fave. ... show more

I've only tried one of the polishes but I opened all of them and they seem to match the color as advertised. The one I used matched perfectly as I was aiming to purchase a nude toned polish and that is what I received. It isn't a no wipe polish but I used the standard alcohol so it wasn't a big deal. I used two coats of polish as well. The thickness was perfect and I put it under a UV/led lamp for 60 seconds and it dried correctly. Although having a good top coat and prepping your nails is a must, I did my manicure four days ago and there's been no peeling or chipping. I tend to use a lot of sanitizer and wash my hands a lot and so far so good. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I will edit my review if for some reason I have a different experience with the other ones. ... show more
