Amazing cube, I've tried many but this is the one I'm most satisfied with. Very smooth, cuts corners well, and after a little bit of getting used to it, I haven't been over flipping sides. Best of all, it'sich quietsr then a lot of other cubes I've tried so it's easy to mess around with at my desk at work without coworkers complaining about noise. The media could not be loaded. **Don't let this review alter your opinion on GAN! They are a great brand with affordable cubes!** Pros: Smoothe turning & convenient case for your cube. Light and easy to take apart and put back together with the built in magnets. Cons: Unable to tighten or loosen to my liking. Only one setting and that's the built in one. Magnets get in the way of my turns Unable to cut corners easily ** This is my first magnetic cube and I'd have to say it's not so good, to me. Might be cause I'm not used to it or that I just prefer the original design but I can definitely say I now prefer cubes without magnets & are stickerd. It is however somewhat easier to put back together, with the built in magnets. So if your not used to magnetic cubes and you are a fast solver, this is definitely not the cube for you. My average time is around 20 seconds but with the gan sticker-less with magnets it brings it up to 30-40 seconds due to being unable to cut the corners without it getting stuck or the magnetics getting in the way of where I want it to turn. I was a little disappointed to find out that Gan didn't sell stickered cubes on Amazon, but I hope they do so in the future, without magnets. This'll be the last time I purchase a sticker-less cube with magnets, regardless of brand. ... show more

    • A decent 3x3 cube for beginner-ish people.
I had my first 3x3 cube like 3 weeks ago and it was a decent but bad cube. It would sometimes lock up and stop turning and was slow just like the OG rubiks brand cube. Once i got my hands on these the speed difference really got me confused because the Gan cube was just too fast for me at first but once i got used to it and i timed myself i beat my personal best with the gan cube in my first try. Literally just too good and is also good for beginners like me and other cubers. My original record was 56 seconds and on my first time with the Gan cube i beat it at 51 seconds. I thinks its pretty good because i learned to solve a cube 2 weeks ago and with the Gan i will definitely beat my 51 second record. Edit: Day 1 of using cube i got a personal best time of 41.17 seconds. Day 2 of using cube i got a PB of 36.05 seconds once again i greatly recommend this cube. I had a PB of 56 seconds with my previous old cube but with this one i now have a 20 second difference in the time it takes to solve. Edit: After a couple or weeks the cube ive come to notice that the cube locks up very often but some lubricant should fix it. I would say this is great for beginners but you would need some lube to keep up with the same speed it came out of the box. You would also need to clean it so i wouldnt recommend this cube for beginners who have like never touched a cube. However it is still good for a little more experienced people with knowledge on how to use lubricant or disassemble the cube and reassemble it. Ive also been noticing an annoying spring sound when turning the cube. ... show more
