This is a great product. I just got it, so I can't speak to longevity. That said, this controller is robust, solid build, and great for holding the Nintendo Switch. I never did like the feel of the Switch stock controllers. When the battery of my other cheap controller finally died I decided to get this grip. I did have to enable the pro controller in settings, but that was easy. Once enable this controller worked like a champ. Some say it feels cheap and is loud, but it is not much louder than other hand held consoles I've had. The trigger feel great and the buttons are in the right place so it is a perfect add-on for my Switch. The best part about this is I can now use my Steam Deck cooling fan on my Switch (snaps on the top and back with velcro) so when playing more graphic intense games it keeps the Switch cooler. ... show more

I've had it for a few months now, and this an AWESOME upgrade for using the Switch on the go. It's way more comfortable in my hands than the joycons, and the texture makes it easy to grip and hold. Feels very solid in the hands, and holds the console snug; I've never once been afraid it would slip out. The buttons are a little clicky, which has a nice tactile feel, but if you don't like audible buttons then it's just something to know. The six-axis and the rumble work good and haven't given me any issues. It's REALLY nice that you can charge the Switch through the USB-C while it's docked into this gamepad. (Quirk to note: for some reason, sometimes if you power the console on while charging it through this gamepad's port, you have to unplug the USB charging cable for a second before it will recognize this as a controller again) My one small complaint is that the -/+/home/picture/turbo/auto buttons are all so close together. In a game that you have to constantly open the menu/inventory a lot, it can be a bit of a pain to try and fumble around for the button you want. TBH though, it's a pretty minor issue, and I got used to it after a while. Overall, a great addition for you Switch, and I definitely recommend! ... show more

It did not work right out of the box and weary to get a replacement as others have mentioned that the sticks stop working after only a month or two. Honestly for $50 I expected this to be super cheaply made, it's hard to find a good controller from companies not affiliated with Nintendo. This thing took me by surprise, it doesn't feel to be cheap at all, I've been using it a little over a week and have had zero issues with it yet. My switch fits in nice and tight in the controller dock, zero rattling at all, and all of the triggers and buttons are instant responsive, no delays at all.
