Another New Updated Review 1/12/2023....... As of today, the rotation feature has completely stopped working on my replacement. This isn't good because I loved that particular feature. The projector itself still works but without the rotation, it's useless to me. I'm deducting an additional star which now brings the total star deduction as of today, to a 3 star deduction. Manufacturers need to look into these problems ASAP if they plan on keeping that hefty price tag! New Updated review 12/28/2022..... Replacement projector is going out of focus. I have to re-focus it after 10 minutes of turning it on. Afterwards, it's fine. But still, it shouldn't be going out of focus in the first place. Taking a 2 star deduction for this. Updated review 10/30/2022 I spoke with the manufacturer about my concerns and they assured me the projector is top quality with a good, long and consistent battery life and apologized that I received a faulty one. I got a replacement and it's going strong. Images are amazing, very sharp, bright and clear....almost mind blowing! I love being able to place it anywhere I want to without having to plug it into a USB port. The battery life exceeds my expectations and I'm glad I spoke with the manufacturer about it vs writing it off. I turn it on at about 10:30 pm and at 6:00am, it's still going strong. What's even more great about this is, it recharges pretty quick...I'd say within 2 hours or so. You certainly have the option to run it using the provided USB cable but as I mentioned, I like the flexibility of putting this where ever I want without the charging cable. I'll be ordering more discs because I'm very impressed. The moon image is by far my favorite. Literally looks like you can reach out and touch it because it looks so real! It doesn't come with a remote but the crisp, sharp images and affordably priced discs, more than make up for the lack of a remote control. 5 stars for the quality of images, long battery life and great customer service. Old review I guess I just have bad luck with projectors. I thought this would end my search for the perfect projector but nope, within 3 days the problems started. At first it lasted for at least 5 to 6 hours after being charged....quite impressive for a rechargeable projector that doesn't need to be plugged in. But then after about 3 days it wouldn't hold a charge like it did when I first got it. It went from lasting 5 to 6 hours to 4 hours then 3 hours. Not a happy camper about that at all! Great quality unit, all functions work well. Would recommend this unit. Where it differs from similar units it that images are fixed and very clear. This unit as great choice of disc images that comes with the unit. As well as an extended gallery to purchase as extra discs. They are a bit on the expensive side. Down side is it doesn’t do changing wave effects of colors. Of Auras etc Like the Star Projectors. But I would recommend this unit. ... show more

A great projector! I have the Sega homestar which was much more pricey but not as bright as this one. The one flaw I have found is when it spins sometimes it skips which ruins the moment. And the one thing it is missing from the homestar is the shooting star which is my favorite feature!. If they added that and smoothed out the rotation it would be perfect! ... show more

Warning : huge bummer below. After hastily setting up the first one I received, I noticed in the imaged slide that there were lines across the actual image projected onto my ceiling - so I removed the slide and swabbed it, come to find out that the slide was severely scratched. I quickly pulled out the others - same thing. Some worse than others. The pillars of creation slide was the worst one. Not only scratched, but the colors was severely faded and honestly, it looked like it had heat/weather damage. That’s when I noticed that in the actual projector lens, there was a good amount of dust. Not “leftover from packaging” dust - Dust that accrues from being used and sitting out for awhile. Begrudgingly, I tried the other slides and laid on my floor, observing, trying to see if this was a small thing I could “just deal with”. That’s when I noticed that when in rotation mode, the slide would seem to skip/stall every so often. And that’s when I remembered that I spent $80+ on this. If it were a projector I bought at a five and below store, I would think “well, I got what I paid for”. But I spent a very decent amount of money on this. So I contacted Amazon, they immediately sent me a new one. And to my dismay - the same EXACT quality of slides, if not worse. I have yet to plug this one in and see if it skips or even works at all. I’m pretty disappointed, I reeeeally wanted this product to be awesome. I’ve been searching for the perfect galaxy projector and this one looked promising and not badly priced. I was hoping for 80+ dollars that it wouldn’t come used/damaged. Hopefully you won’t make the same mistake that I have. ... show more
