I want to address a some things I've seen throughout the comments and questions sections. Please read to the end to see my comments about the broken box. Is it actually a Galaxy's Edge Lightsaber? Yes, this is a Galaxy's Edge lightsaber. No you CANNOT buy these directly from Disney without flying to Florida or California and actually going to Galaxy's Edge. The lightsabers sold here are from a seller who actually goes to the park (or has someone do it for them) and buys them in quantity to resell online. Is this a Hasbro Black Series Lightsaber? No, this is not. You can purchase many lightsabers from Hasbro, but they are NOT the same lightsabers as the ones you can purchase from Galaxy's Edge. Is these lightsabers marked up? Yes, absolutely. You can't buy these without physically going to Galaxy's Edge so this is much cheaper for you unless you regularly go to Disney. In addition, some are limited quantity so they're already a collectible item. And lastly, there are seller fees associated with selling items that need to be covered. Would I recommend them? Absolutely!! I have purchased multiple lightsabers through various sellers on Amazon because it's massively cheaper than actually traveling to Disney World (and sometimes you can get ones that are out of stock at Galaxy's Edge). I have also purchased multiple lightsabers through Disney World and can verify that these lightsabers are packaged, branded, and the quality is the same that you would get from Disney World. How can I tell if it's new? All Galaxy's Edge lightsabers come in the packaging you can see in my picture (I'll get to the broken box later) and will have at least a couple strands of quality tape holding them closed. Not scotch tape, but threaded quality tape. If those aren't there or are cut, you've probably received a used lightsaber or the seller has at least opened the box. Broken box? Yes, in this instance for my Darth Maul legacy lightsaber the box came damaged. This was a shipping issue, not the sellers issue. The box that it was shipped in was also damaged and visibly crushed in. I personally don't need the box to be pretty as I display them with stands, so I chose not to pursue a refund or replacement because the lightsaber itself was perfectly fine. Recommendations: Always check the seller ratings, this will help you ensure (not guarantee) that you're getting a good product. Double check the item is returnable because in the event it's a bad item you don't want to have an issue with this. Typically Amazon is really good about this kind of thing so it's not usually a problem. To all you Star Wars fans out there like me, have a great day and may the force be with you. ... show more

Most places have darth mauls sabers but so far I think I found my favorite it's a bit heavy but the material is strong yes it's high in price but it's worth it for a discontinued product but if Maul is one of your favorites then I highly recommend getting this hilt/lightsaber here

Thought it was broken when I attached the saber and the light was going on and off. Was going to return. It was just the batteries needed to be replace. Bought one directly from shopDisney.com and had to do the same thing. They were not broken just needed new batteries and they worked fantastic after!!!!! Great purchase!!!!’ ... show more
