It is very easy to attach and remove the blades. The blade itself is not very high quality. The tool vibrates while cutting hard woods. It needs to be hold very tightly in order to cut through hard wood.

I got this for a shower stall regrout. I am a minor do it yourselfer and not very comfortable with power tools. This oscillating saw is not as intimadating as other power tools.     • Galax Pro Oscillating Tool ( 20V Cordless )
The old saying, " You get what you pay for " most of the time implies in order to get a decent -- anything --, you need to skip the less expensive and buy the more expensive items. Well, I have now learned that sometimes you may pay less for something and get more than what you thought, and as you have guessed this is the case with this tool. I don't usually write many reviews however thought it important to bring to the attention to anyone needing or interested in purchasing one of these tools to just try this. I honestly think you will be impressed with what you get. Without going into a lot of detail all I will say is I have bought and tried two similar tools made by different manufacturers. One was $10 more and the other was $25 more. Both of these were returned because of problems encountered within 30 min's of using them. Also, I have noticed that some of these companies bait folks for good reviews in exchange for a free gift ( such as a free battery, etc.... ). This review is based from just my initial observation after using it and I in no way have received anything in return for the review. So now what I have observed is that this is exactly what is says it is " an oscillating tool ." The battery clips into place easily and lasts a long time at moderate use . You can adjust the speed of the tool from 1-6 with 6 being the highest speed and at the highest speed it is not as loud as the other two I have tried and also doesn't have as much vibration to your hand as the other two that I tried. The quick release lever works well and is simple, the tool heads supplied appear to be good quality and in using the scraper it worked very well in removing some very hard type caulking around our windows we are repairing. This tool doesn't have the light as some others do but that is not a deal breaker for me, it makes up for this in quality and design. It does have a 3 degree oscillating design which is really nice in aiding in its ability to cut/sand--etc... I believe this tool to be a great addition to the regular home handyman/woman. It is basic however there is nothing wrong in my opinion with a basic tool that does what it is suppose to. This has turned out to be a really great purchase, all I can say is it is once in a while when something like this impresses me, well done Galax Pro !!! ... show more

Oh my gosh...I love this little guy. Saved me so much money and I have completed 2 jobs already. Cut through stucco to add a new electrical outlet. And cut through alluminum patio cover for new fan mount. Easy to use. A little loud when you go full speed but worth it. Buy buy buy!
