I chose this table because I wanted the storage feature and it was one of the only black tables like this that had the wood grain look. It is smaller than an average coffee table, but I knew that based on the description. I wanted something smaller than what I already had. It was not very easy to put together but I managed to do it by myself. It took a while. The material is not great quality but it’s sturdy and looks good in the room. When you set stuff on it like a coaster, it will leave an imprint behind. It comes off easily when you clean it, but it’s still something you should know. Overall it’s a good table if you understand the size, don’t expect it to be put together very easily, and don’t mind cleaning it often. ... show more

1) DESCRIPTION SAYS: "Easy to Assemble/tools included in the package" -- THERE ARE NO TOOLS INCLUDED. ASSEMBLY IS RIDICULOUSLY COMPLICATED. I WAS OBLIGED TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL HANDYMAN AND PAY $75 2) AFTER OVER 2 HOURS OF ASSEMBLING AND DISMANTLING AND TRYING TO ASSEMBLE AGAIN, the Top of the table WHICH LIFTS OUT TO BE A DESK, DOES NOT CLOSE FLUSH TO THE TABLE! THERE IS A 1/4" GAP LEFT BETWEEN THE MAIN TABLE AND THE DESK TOP! (SEE PHOTOS) 3) Returning it is an IMPOSSIBLE proposition! No one could get all these pieces and parts back into the shabby, torn, taped over like a box that had been previously used delivery box!
