This is the 2nd mask I ordered. The first one was another brand that just wouldn't seal regardless of how tight I made the straps. This mask was quick to assemble and fit easily with slight tightening of the straps. The facial seal was easy to obtain and breathing was easy, although I've only tested it short term. This mask is comfortable. The lock on the snorkel is easy to use and strong. I used it for scalloping and it was perfect for the job. The air intake is on the opposite side of the exit valve. Did not fog as much as other masks. the intake has a ball that blocks water from getting in while under water. I was going to the Caribbean and had never been snorkeling so I thought the whole face option would be better for a beginner. This snorkel did not disappoint. It was easy to use and compact to fit into my book bag. It fit well I never had any water leaks or fog. A good snorkel at a reasonable price.

We were preparing for a family trip to the med and I realized that the things I wanted to do, swimming and snorkeling were things my 5 year old did not do yet. We ordered this mask a few weeks before departing on vacation. My son was excited to receive the mask in the mail. We went to the pool to try it out. He ran out of the locker room yelling, "let's go swimming!", put the mask on and immediately stuck his face in the water. This is a boy who does not dunk his head yet because he doesn't understand holding his breath. We have swma around countless times and he enjoys being able to see below the surface. I give him a thumbs up under the water and he gives me a thumbs up- he absolutely loves it. I never see water leaking in. The dive ball in the top of the snorkel works amazing to keep water out of the breathing tube and the GoPro mount works perfectly. I highly recommend this product. I am unable to comment on the comfort as the mask does not fit my face. I do notice some marks on his face after swimming for 30-40 minutes with the mask. Probably because I overtightened it trying to ensure no water in his mask. But he has never complained about having it on. ... show more

So I almost died using this mask. They apparently cause CO2 poisoning BC this type of mask does not give you new, fresh air - it circulates your already used CO2. I was snorkeling in Hawaii, ended up a bit farther than I meant to go in super rough waters. I had to find a rock of coral to stand on and yell for help. The waves were pushing me and I couldn’t breath, my heart was about to burst out of my chest! I was so scared! The people who rescued me told me about this type of mask. Then my friends came back with the same masks - my friend had to splash water in our other friends face bc his eyes rolled back in his head and he was about to faint! I would never again use this type of mask. They’re really only good for more calm and shallow snorkeling, if even that though I don’t advise it after this experience.
