I can say nothing really bad about this product, in fact I'm shocked by some of the reviews here where people say they ran out of product. I left my calipers on the car, taped off the pads and other places I didn't want paint, and was able to put two coats on rather heavily and still had plenty of paint left to do one more coat. Product is easy to apply and stays on well as long as you do a thorough prep. I had two additional cans of brake cleaner at home and went through all three cans to make sure my brakes were nice and clean, even using a heavy scrub brush. Let the calipers dry for 24 hours and everything looks great. Only thing I could suggest is adding one more additional brush, a secondary main brush just because some of the bristles were starting to fall out on the one. Otherwise, great product ... show more

Looks great when dry. Masking took awhile so take your time. Removing calipers would help but not necessary. If I were doing pad replacement it would be perfect time to paint. My car was new so calipers were pretty clean. I picked up a set of hobby brushes at Walmart and they were much nicer than the 3 supplied with kit. I put 3 coats over most of calipers and had tons of paint left. I could have done another 4. Can’t say about durability but initial results are awesome ... show more

This worked well for me; HOWEVER, buyer beware. After reading reviews indicating that people ran short of paint, I decided to order two kits. It turns out that one kit worked well and I decided to return the unopened kit. Amazon refused to receive a return due to the flammable nature of the paint. They said to go to the OEM. When I did so, I was told that they could not receive the return since I had not purchased directly from them. Also, the recommended application temperature is 57-70 degF. Being summer in Oklahoma, a morning temperature of 76 degF seemed the best I could hope for. I successfully applied 3-4 coats in 1.5 hours and then it started to set-up. Thankfully I had been applying sort of thick coats, because it got like molasses but I was somewhat satisfied with the existing coverage. ... show more

Initially I was a bit disappointed when I opened the can and saw that it was less than half full, but when mixed with the catalyst there ended up being more than enough to do all four calipers and all four caliper mounting brackets on a full size heavy duty truck. Paint seems to be extremely durable after a 24hr cure, 48hrs is a full cure. I but some paint on a test piece of cast iron when I painted my calipers and the next day I tried removing some of it with some lacquer thinner on a rag. Very little transferred to the rag after some vigorous rubbing So I'm pretty confident it will hold up to anything it will se on the road. Time will tell if it holds up to the heat, but I'll update this review if I find any failures in that area. My only complaint is that I wish this was in spray form as I had all my brake hardware off the truck and media blasted, so spraying would have taken much less time to do. That said this is designed to do the calipers on the vehicle so if your not doing a brake job as I was it is perfect for that and the paint flows really well so you wont see any brush marks in the finish. Did this on my 16yo daughters car. Color was true. The can didn’t look like it would do much, but I was able to do 3 coats on all the calipers and anchor brackets. Easy to apply. Proper prep work is key and patience. Overall great product! Will definitely use again when it comes time for brakes on my other vehicles. ... show more

I got great results. I used this for my 2023 Denali and previously on my wife’s BMW. You will definitely need a good prep. My calipers are new so I did not have a great amount of cleaning prep but I did clean well with the included cleaner. No primer or sanding. You will want to remove all wheels if possible. I taped off what I did not want paint on and worked from one wheel to the next. 4 coats. I still had plenty left over and even touched up my other car. You can see the remaining product in the can. There’s plenty. Read and follow the instructions on mixing. I did get a set of artists brushes as the ones included did not last the entire process (4 coats) but did a pretty good job. Follow instructions, take your time and expect to be in your garage several hours. I cleaned, polished and ceramic coated my wheels while I had them off. I did not time myself but the coating was workable for several hours. I also used this product before on my wife’s car 4 years ago and no chipping and still looks great. The paint went on well. The problem was ebikes and bike brake calipers are much smaller so I had to guess how much paint to catalysts proportions to use, and lots more prep because many more bolts and nuts to mask. I wish the company would come out with a product just for bikes and ebikes.

Would have gave it 5 stars but i opened the box and the brake cleaner was gone. The product is easy to use, goes on nice, self leveling from what i seen but you gotta spread it out, and looks good after its dry.
