Great complete kit. I used a heavy wire brush in conjunction with the included cleaner spray, but my brakes were clean to begin with. Masking with blue tape makes it easier to prevent paint getting on other important bits. Highly recommend you buy better brushes. I spent $4 on a set of 3 hobby brushes at Walmart and much preferred the quality and flow of paint using those brushes vs the included ones. I went through two brushes during the process. Don't be afraid to layer it on quite thick after the first coat or two, as the weight of the paint allows it to naturally settle into a smooth finish. If you don't, you'll get brush strokes. Don't forget to open the garage door! This stuff is strong and very bad for your lungs. As you can see , my 3 coats turned out beautifully.     • Easy enough to do. Easier if you take the calipers off.

I put this on the calipers of my old s2000 to dress em up a bit. Car is completely black, dark bronze wheels, so it was looking a bit Darth Vader. I decided to just lean into that and just add a little red to the brakes. The stuff is really smelly, as you should expect epoxy to be, and you'll get BEST results if you take the calipers off, clean them well, paint carefully, then reinstall. Bleed the brakes after and you're set. I took the opportunity while I had it apart to install the braided brake lines I've had around for a while at the same time. I can see how you *could* do this without taking the brakes apart, but I can't imagine the results would be anything close to doing it "right." If you have the time, take the time. Kit comes with enough paint do do good solid 2-coat coverage of the whole caliper on all 4 corners, adheres well and lays out nicely/ cures shiny, so I'm happy. G2 red gloss stock paint color, covered my black colored Brembos. Took 3 hours start to finish in a temperature of about 68 with no humidity. Did about 4-5 coats on the front of the Brembos, waiting about 30 min in between coats as I when around the whole car. Kit came with three brushes but I got a kit of extra brushes from Five Below just in case. Paint does dry quick so you have to move fast from caliper to caliper. I let dry for 24 hours before putting wheels back on and driving. Paint is thick when dry and makes a really hard surface. Smooths out when drying. Had enough paint left for another two coats. Very happy with the outcome. Would buy again. Looks great behind the wheels. ... show more

Hands down this product does exactly what it says will make any dull surfaces bright and most of all wicked shiny.. you paint this product on with a tiny brush you think here comes the streaks nope not one when it drys and cures rock hard finish with a High Gloss finish stunning.

Over all it was a good product. Toward the end for some reason the paint got really thick and I’m not too sure as to why. I didn’t let it sit long enough for it to cause that. But I’m happy with it. Made the look of the calipers better.

This worked well for me; HOWEVER, buyer beware. After reading reviews indicating that people ran short of paint, I decided to order two kits. It turns out that one kit worked well and I decided to return the unopened kit. Amazon refused to receive a return due to the flammable nature of the paint. They said to go to the OEM. When I did so, I was told that they could not receive the return since I had not purchased directly from them. Also, the recommended application temperature is 57-70 degF. Being summer in Oklahoma, a morning temperature of 76 degF seemed the best I could hope for. I successfully applied 3-4 coats in 1.5 hours and then it started to set-up. Thankfully I had been applying sort of thick coats, because it got like molasses but I was somewhat satisfied with the existing coverage. ... show more
