There was no damage to any of the fence panels and set up was very easy. Everything fit together great, and even though we have this set up on our cool deck, it stands up fine by staggering each panel left and right a little. We are so glad we purchased this fence! It was either buy this or have it built in our side yard. Believe me when I say this was not only way less expensive, but it is just as nice looking and sturdy enough for our two dogs. It was easy to put together, and works perfectly. Our dogs are in 7th Heaven! One dog is large (on the older side - not a jumper and well-behaved), the other small (2 years old). It's a nice large yard area where the can run and play together. Quick, easy assembly. Perfect for our two 15 lb. dogs. You can easily make any shape you want. We attached it to our deck and house, giving us one whole side in length that didn't need fencing. Now, we can just open the back door, out go the dogs and potty training is now a success!! Terrific customer service. They returned phone calls quickly. I loved that this required zero tools, assembled easily, and is extremely portable. It's perfect for blocking off an area, confining and keeping him off the good carpets while my puppy learns house training. I am planning to use it camping as well, finding that the hinges are held with stakes. This is is a good looking gate and set of panels.     • Gate Latches Need Reworked - Needs Beefed Up

I bought this for a 9 month old, 64lb Doberman puppy. I attached it onto my greenhouse so I could work inside and she could go out to potty without worry off her running off. PROS - It looks really nice and the panels are sturdy. It is easy to assemble. CONS - If you're using it to add to a building, you'll need to stake straight runs with fencing posts. (The kind you pound in.) That is for big dogs who can knock it over. In a circle, it will probably be ok, but if you have a really strong dog like a Dobie, Rottie, etc...you'll need to beef it up. Also, the gate latches are TERRIBLE. You have to use both hands to flip them up to unlatch. My husband had to weld a piece of rod so both could be lifted up at that same time with one hand. Trust me, when juggling a puppy on a leash and plants, that's very necessary. Even without a puppy, it's annoying and a really bad design. Other than that, it's a good fence and I don't see my Dobie knocking it over. I will probably buy more panels because 16 wasn't enough space for her. ... show more

Purchased for the recovery of our 60lbs dog after TPLO surgery. The pen is easy to set up and not too heavy. She got used to it quickly (she could never be trained to be comfortable in a crate). We did not have any problems but she is not a jumper. We did acclimate her to being alone in it, in the house over time. We also bungied it to something heavy (coffee table) in case she jumped up on it. The bottom of the door in the door panel was too high for her to step over but we just used the whole panel as a door and it work great! Good quality and decent price. ... show more

Here is why: 1) Height: it's perfect for those high energy dogs specially, they can't get past it, as dogs grow their jumps can clear them off 24" to 28" and even 30" fences, the 50" height is secure 2) Ground clearance: the fact that the lower end is actually almost 1 inch off the ground and the side bars of each piece has a rubber footing solves the issue of rust and water damage to the panels 3) Sturdiness: the metal is not flimsy or light, it's not heavy either, it's the correct balance of weight and strength, the long connecting rods are rounded up on top (excellent idea) and the bore is perfect, it's easy to install and connect the panels and strong enough not to bend and give trouble pulling out, here's an idea, apply some oil or WD40 to the bottom if you're using it in a yard or on grass, it will protect the bottom of the rod from rust and damage.
