I bought this because my cat was kneading on a memory blanket my mom gave me. Her nails were pulling threads so I bought her this. It is really soft, I'm not sure about the warmth because it's about the size of a nursing blanket. It washes fine, just tumble dry on low heat.

50x70 is a perfect size for getting your feet covered lounging around on a cold day watching a movie with the fireplace on. It is a little on the thin side but the throw itself is a quality piece. I would definitely buy it again but look for a gsm of at least 300 or more.
