This computer desk looks exactly like the picture in the Amazon description. It comes unassembled, and it took approximately a little over an hour of dedicated time to complete. The included illustrations were helpful, but I would recommend also looking at the video provided in the Amazon description that visually depicts how to assemble the pieces. On the plus side, this computer desk can fit in a small space. The 3-piece engineered wood top makes a sturdy flat surface to place your laptop on, and it also has enough room to place other items on it at the same time. The three fabric drawers with molded plastic drawer pulls are roomy and sturdy enough to place various items. The metal frame has strength; I don't see it falling down at all. I really appreciate that the plastic feet have levelers! I was able to make the desk stay securely in place and not wobble, no matter where I placed it; thus, I didn't have to find a shim to place under one or more of the legs to make it steady. Even though the concept of a cup holder and hook on the side of the desk is great, I would have liked it to be of a better quality and design. The cup holder is 3 inches across, and my coffee mugs are 3.5 inches across, so most of my mugs will not fit in the cup holder. It does, however, hold a 16.9 fl. oz. plastic water bottle fairly well. The hook will definitely hold a pair of headphones, but I would not hang a backpack as shown in one of the pictures in the Amazon description, unless it was very light and very empty. I really love this little desk! It's not too heavy but it's quite sturdy. And I'm beyond impressed with the instructions and the way the whole kit was organized to make assembly go smoothly. The steps and diagrams were all clear, and every piece was labeled as was every bag of hardware. There were a lot of steps but I never had any issues trying to figure out what to do or how to do it. I was even able to do about 75% of it while sitting on the couch! The only real challenge I had was with using the combination tool. One end is an actual allen wrench, while the other is a phillips screwdriver. While I appreciate what I assume is a desire to be efficient and minimize cost and environmental impact, I struggled to use this tool effectively. Part of the issue was that my increasingly clumsy fingers had a hard time using only the short end as an allen wrench, and the other was that in some cases there wasn't enough room to rotate the long part a full turn. I also could not for the life of me get the cup holder put together properly, but that's a minor concern. I'm very happy with this desk and with the assembly process.     • Easy to assemble, but takes some time with all the pieces. Nice, attractive, functional , small.

The box came packaged well, no damage. Unloaded it and set all the pieces out, then read the instructions. You can also watch a video, but I have put together many things like this, so know the basics. I then see how the process works and can have all the tools I need in front of me. I am using it in the entry way as a place to put stuff on when coming in the house and a charging station and a phone drop off. Above it are some small book shelves to store things too. I spent about 1 1/2 hours putting it together, but there were no problems. The metal legs are sturdy for medium usage (we don't really sit at it much, but have a small chair nearby in case we need it) The drawers are fabric, shut easily and are very light weight. I can level out the legs with little screw things. The top is nice and smooth, a composite material, and water just beads up on it, so can be wiped and not stain. All in all, perfect for our purpose, not used much, but very much appreciated for its use. ... show more

9 year old daughter wanted a little desk for her bedroom. Decided to give this one a try. I loved the low price (figure she might not take the best care of it), the size, and the accessories (cup holder and headphone holder). Arrived in a pretty small box, which had me concerned. But when it was all put together I was pleased and she was thrilled. It took about 45 minutes to assemble. You have to pay careful attention to how you are assembling it or part will be backwards and you will have to start over. Once put together it feels sturdy and level. She immediately began organizing her new desk and loves it. Works great next to her bed and pulls double duty as a night stand. Highly recommend so far.
