Please read and follow directions! You will need to wipe off excess (if using the pens) very quickly. I was able to use these just about instantly upon receipt. With some care, I was able to get a dark wood end table and dark reddish wood console looking decent again. Even though I thought the mahogany would work on the console, the cherry color did the trick. Now. Nothing (or no one) is perfect, so if you look real close you can see the corrected area, but it's good enough that I don't feel I would need to replace the two pieces of furniture.
