🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The chairs reviewed are lightweight and easy to assemble, making them a convenient choice for small spaces or first apartments. The chairs are praised for their easy-to-clean feature and comfortability. However, some concerns have been raised on the assembly process which can be tricky, and the potential lack of sturdiness, especially for individuals over 220 lbs.

Pros

  • 🔹 Light and easy to assemble
  • 🔸 Fit perfectly in small spaces
  • 🔹 Easy to clean as there are no cushions
  • 🔸 Surprisingly comfortable

Cons

  • 🔹 Not suitable for overweight individuals
  • 🔸 Some chairs might wobble
  • 🔹 Some assembly issues and confusions
  • 🔸 The back of the chair is quite flexible and it may flex if leaned back

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for lightweight, easy-to-assemble and clean chairs that fit perfectly in smaller spaces, these are a great option. However, if you prioritize higher weight support and stiffness in the chair back or aren't up for potentially tricky assembly, you may want to consider other options.

  • Great Quality!
Color: White
Super affordable chairs! The quality is great too! I love the color and seat shape. Comfortable and aesthetic! Despite being white they are easy to clean and I haven’t had any stains. Typical chair height and the fit our table perfectly.

  • Strong, easy to assemble, but difficult to clean.
Color: White
They are super nice. They are definitely the most affordable dining chairs I've seen. My one complaint is that due to the color it is very easy to get food or dirt stains. When I was assembling it, it immediately picked up dirt from the floor which I was not able to clean up with just rubbing alcohol. But I did remove it with a harsher cleaner and some good scrubbing. The wood comes unstained and unsealed, so you can stain it if you like. It came a week early, which was a pleasant surprise. Very easy to assemble. Although it did not come with instructions it was very straightforward. All you do is screw the legs/base onto the seat with washers and bolts. It comes with a small wrench (and the nuts and bolts) to help you attach the legs to the seat, however I had to also use my crescent wrench since some of the bolts on the legs were kind of loose. I strongly recommend. As for comfort, they are ok. They definitely don't hurt and they aren't awkward to sit in, but the the seats are uncushioned plastic so what can you expect. They remind me of the chairs that they have in schools. They kinda feel like that. I plan on making seat cushions for mine. In conclusion they are very lovely and adorable I strongly recommend. ... show more

  • Some flaws, but overall great option for the price!
Color: White
Let’s just start by saying that for the price, these are amazing. They’re also super modern and will match a lot of different spaces. There are 2 flaws I have found though... First, these are a HUGE pain in the butt to put together. They are pre assembled, but each leg (16 of them) is wrapped in this plastic netting. Which would be fine, but the netting is stuck in between the screws on the legs so either you can try and rip it off and pick the little pieces of netting out with pliers, or you can unscrew each leg and pull the netting off and rescrew. Either way is annoying to me. Second flaw, they are great for kids and comfy, but they WILL flip over if your kid or toddler tries to slide out of the chair. My daughter flipped the chair 5 times the first day we had them out. So they’re not exactly sturdy. But honestly, I’d still buy them again. Great price, SUPER fast shipping, look great, and pretty comfortable. Also a plus... easy to wipe clean! ... show more

  • Nice chairs great price
Color: White
These completed a new dining set I put together for our kitchen.. we had 4 chairs falling apart due to them being too big/cumbersome for children. These are exactly what I hoped they'd be... pretty sturdy, light, easy to move, smaller overall, but not too small... and went well with a modern mid-century antique table I found. The only things to note about these chairs is the finish on the legs is a little unrefined. They're not glossy like the photos. I had to sand an refinish them anyway to match the table better so, it actually saved me some sanding. They looked almost unfinished out of the box... maybe a whisper or suggestion of lacquer had been applied... like a tasteful perfume. But I sanded that off and brought them down a tone or 2 by staining with 'Driftwood' from Minwax. Now they blend with the table better. The white plastic is easy to smudge/shows (dirty) fingerprints but is easy to clean. I'd prefer a more polished surface but it is very acceptable as is. I honestly have no real issues with this set, for $100 shipped you can't beat this set. They seem sturdy so far and my 220 lb butt has tested each one. Assembly was as expected.. most went together with no issue, a few bolts/screws needed tightening after the journey from half a world away... but no problems at all. ... show more

  • A Little Tough to Put Together, But great chairs when assembled.
Color: White
I had a similar set of these chairs that were college hand-me-downs, in brown that was peeling to show the (shudder) avocado green underneath. As my own kid is out of college, I decided that I deserved a set that was newer than 1972. These look wonderful, and fit the design I wanted for our new kitchen. I have boatloads of experience putting together furniture, including the stuff from that giant Scandinavian chain, so I figured this would be a no brainer. Hah. I spent 45 minutes on one chair, trying to hold the screws, washers and the chair tabs together, and I still got it wrong! I noticed that the screws seemed to be made of unusually soft metal, as I had stripped the heads on many of them with a hand held Allen wrench and no attempts at tightening the screws. I decided to make my life a lot easier with a few things, first of all, bringing the old screws to the hardware store and exchanging them for better quality screws. I also bought a thing called loc-tite, which is supposed to keep screws from coming undone. I had an epiphany when I went back to hold all that little bits in place while I screwed the legs on: there is no law saying I cannot tape the things in place so I have both hands free to support the chair and screw in the bits. The tape gave me the added benefit of helping me make sure all the tabs on the chair leg assembly were in the correct place. I used plain old office tape, the stuff you might use for gift wrapping, and tore it away when the legs were in place. I did poke a small hole in the tape just before I screwed in-the screw, and squirted in a tiny amount of loc-tight as added insurance. It has been five months of daily use, and the hardware is all in place. My only recommendation beyond getting more durable screws would be to think long and hard before buying white chairs. I end up cleaning these things on a daily basis, as they show EVERYTHING. I find handprints on them from people who supposedly have clean hands. The dog leaves little footprints on the chair before I see him and boot him off. Our Thanksgiving dinner left souvenirs on every single chair. Cleaning them is easy, just spray with cleanser and scrub off the stains with a rag, but it's just one more thing to do. I'm glad that the green with brown paint were demoted to garage use, but they needed a quick swipe to clean them about three times a year. The new white ones need a lot more attention, but they look amazing in my kitchen. ... show more
