Very talkative but just recently stoped working hopefully just the batteries it has been a while so hopefully the batteries just have died. I’ve had to replace them once since June.

My one year old absolutely loves this toy! It does come with small pieces, that's why it's rated for older kids, but if you don't use them it's perfectly fine for younger kids and toddlers. I LOVE that there is an off button. I had the original Furby growing up and remember hiding it in the corner with a towel over it so it wouldn't go off randomly. I swear all of those were infused with some kind of demon or spirit how often they just randomly went off. This does use English, so it's a great thing to help develop language skills. Perfect for a 5 year old. She's able to play with Furby on her own with no troubles and she's obsessed. I truly believe they're best friends. He's great quality and isn't too loud.
